“Yeah, of course.” Liam tried a smile, though it was weak and there was no real emotion behind it.

“Why don’t you just sit for a bit?” Kasey suggested in a soft murmur before slipping away to get ready. It wouldn’t take her long, all she needed to do was change and that was easy.
Liam nodded, watching Kasey leave before he sat down on the couch. He held his head in his hands, sighing softly. It felt strange to have someone there for him this time around, he wasn't alone anymore.
It only took about five minutes for Kasey to get dressed and ready to leave. Soon, she was back out in the living room, stopping near Liam.
“Ready, love?” she asked softly, giving him a small, hopefully encouraging, smile.
Liam looked up and nodded, standing a moment later, “Yeah, let’s go.” He tried offering a smile back, though didn’t have much luck.
“Can you tell me how to get there? I’m not sure where we’re going,” Kasey said as they stepped out the door.
Liam nodded, pulling out his phone, "Yeah, I'll get directions up on here."
“Okay, sounds good,” Kasey said. They reached the car, and she climbed in the driver’s seat and waited for Liam to get in.
Liam climbed in, the car already feeling too small. He buckled in, plugging his phone into the car so the directions could come up on the screen.
“All right. Are you ready?” Kasey asked softly, glancing over at him and offering him her free hand.
Liam nodded, realising a shaky breath and taking her hand, “Yeah… lets go.”
Kasey gave his hand a gentle squeeze before putting the car in drive. Using the map, she followed the directions to the cemetery, parking where she could.
“Do you want to go pick out flowers?” she asked gently.
Liam nodded, "Yeah, the stalls just on the outside of the cemetery," He climbed out the car, pointing to a small, wooden stall with bundles of different flowers on the benches, "That's where I always go."
Kasey got out of the car and walked around to Liam’s side. She reached her hand out to him for him to hold.
“Shall we go get some, then?” she murmured, gently squeezing his hand when he took hers.
Liam sighed softly, giving Kasey’s hand a squeeze back, “Yeah, let’s go.” He led them over to the stall where an elderly man sat behind the wood. He smiled and greeted the two, seeming to know Liam fairly well.
Liam picked out some orange and yellow flowers, paying before heading towards Colby’s grave.
Kasey followed Liam along silently. There wasn’t much that she could say, nothing she could think of. This was just something that would take time for him to heal, and all she could do was give her unconditional love and support.
Eventually they made it to Colby’s grave. It was smooth, made of a white marble. On the front was the words,
Here lies Colby Evan Saylar.
Loving brother and son.
May he live in our heart for eternity.
Liam sat down in front of the grave, gesturing for Kasey to sit next to him.
(Howdy parter, am I allowed to join the forum as I am thinking of a similar story and am just looking for some ideas to help me out, also I’m very new to this site but I could help.)
Kasey sat beside Liam when he waved her down. She sat close, but not so close that she would’ve crowding him. She could still move a bit closer if he wanted her to.

(I think we’ve got it, but you’re welcome to stalk.)
(sighs I apologise on his behalf. He’s my friend and only joined to annoy me in class today… he’ll deny it to keep up the act but it’s true.)
Liam placed the flowers down on his grave with a soft sigh. He took a moment before he spoke up.
“Hey buddy. Sorry I haven’t visited in a while, life’s been pretty crazy,” He bit his lips, “I miss you like crazy. And I say it all the time when I see you but I do. I uh… brought someone this time. Her names Kasey and she’s my girlfriend. I think you’d love her if you two met.”
(Lol no worries 😂 Didn’t cause any harm.)
“Hey, Colby… I wish we could have met, too, but that’s okay. I’m taking care of your brother for ya,” Kasey said softly, resting a hand on Liam’s knee as she spoke.
Liam managed a small smile, placing his hand on top of Kasey’s, “You can’t tell anyone, but Kasey’s a super hero. And she’s incredible. And not just because of the hero stuff, but just in general. And… and I love her very much.”
Kasey chuckled softly at Liam’s description of her. “Liam is pretty amazing, too. He’s been so supportive of everything, and I couldn’t have asked for a better boyfriend. I love him very much.”
Liam looked over at Kasey with a soft smile, "I wish you could have met her, I think you both would have gotten along well. I mean, you're both huuuuge fans of marvel so."
Kasey rested her other hand on top of the one Liam held hers with. She gave him a small smile, squeezing his hand gently.
“I think we would have liked each other,” she said softly.
Liam let out a very, very soft chuckle, along with a nod, "I think you would have to. He probably would have liked you more then me."
Kasey echoed Liam’s chuckle, shifting to lean into him. “I’m sure he would love you more. You’re his brother, love.”
Liam wrapped an arm around Kasey with a small sigh, "No way, he might say he loves me more but you'd be his favourite person and love you more, no doubt in the world."
“No, babe. Don’t think like that,” Kasey murmured softly, kissing his cheek. “He would love you more, being your brother.”
