Brair smiled before kissing his head.

Damian shifted to pull her into his arms, falling back on the edge of the blankets.

Briar gigled a bit.

Damian had pulled her on top of him, and was nuzzling his nose against hers.

Briar smiled leaning down to kiss his cheek.

Damian pulled her over to nibble her nose.

she laughed " your so cute".

"you realize my Pack is known for being the most feared of all the wolf Packs right?" he asked teasingly.

"Yes but did you know that females are most feared when they are on top of a male" she teased.

"My aunt is scarier than you" said Damian.

"My father is scarier than you".

"What's your dad like?" asked Damian,

"he's a guy who doesn't like it when I date".

"Lucky me my parents won't care if I bring back a girlfriend."

"lucky my dad locked me in the dungeon for dating Alec".

"Honestly I think my dad would be more worried about the pack trying to kill me for finding a human… or non-wolf girlfriend."

Her eyes softened "Your dad sounds great".

"Yeah.." said Damian, "I just hope the pack gets the hint to leave you alone."

"what do you mean " she asked her voice filled with concern.

"Most of the scars I have are from my packmates" said Damian, "The Nightshade Pack has a thing against Halfwolves, and anyone who isn't a Fullblood Nightshade. It's actually pretty ironic since my dad, his beta, and me, are all Halfblood. It also doesn't help that I've always been smaller than the other's my age."

"Oh god I'm gonna die" she said.

"No you're not!" said Damian, "I only put up with it cause I have to. Wolf code says I can't hurt the younger ones, even in self defence." He reached up to stroke her cheek, "Not all of them are like that anyway, and if I can't keep you safe in the pack then I'll set you up in Silver Valley with the rest of my family."

she smiled lightly placing her hand on top of his.

"Heck if I really had to I'd run away with you to somewhere in the wilds where no one could touch us!"

"You are the sweetest most thoughtful guy i've ever met."

"And you're the most beautiful girl I know"

Briar blushed hiding her face in his chest.

Damian brushed his fingers through her hair, lovingly stroking her back.

she smiled closing her eyes.
