she let go and walked over to a bed and sat down. she was tired, had a headache and felt very stupid

"Marie, are you alright?" Rey asked, tiredness edging at his voice. He still stood tall and with good posture, despite his fear, exhaustion, and pain.

"Im fine. i have a headache from hell and would like to kick myself right about now but im fine" she said

"I can take care of the headache," Rey offered, drawing out his yew wand, "That is, if you'll allow me. You've been awfully kind to me, and I may as well return the favor by easing your pain."

"Go ahead" she said

Rey pointed his wand at Marie's head and uttered an incantation. A pale blue glow came from the tip of his wand.
"Better?" he asked, lowering his wand.
(I have to go. I won't be back until either around this time tomorrow or sometime Tuesday.)

"thanks" she said feeling as tho a weight was lifted from her head.

Rey came into the common room and slung his bag onto one of the sofas before sitting down. He was tired and still achy from being struck by such a potent Cruciatus curse earlier that day. One of the other sixth years mentioned it, and he dismissed it.

Marie came in, after Rey with Draco, Crabbe and Goyle on her tail. they all knew what happened in the class today. and they knew she ran after her friend. they wouldnt stop teasing her about her "boyfriend". like they had any room to talk

Rey stared at Crabbe and Goyle, annoyed that they were so uncomfortably close to Marie. He was sick of people constantly being disgusting and inconsiderate, and her was ready to stop laying down and being stepped on. Rey kept his wand at the ready, thoroughly prepared to practice some sort of jinxes on them.

"Lay off me will you!!" she shouted throwing her hands in the air. "Hes not my boyfriend and hes a better friend than any of you are!" She now was aware she had the entire common rooms attention, and she became very uncomfortable with all the attention on her rather than Draco and his boys

(Sorry, I nodded off.)
Rey was done. Fed up. He tightened his grip on his wand and pointed it at Goyle. He shouted an incantation, which caused the seventh-year to transform into a toad.

Marie watched Goyle turn into a toad and she was in shock. she didnt have to turn around to know who did it. She burst into laughter, as did Draco. Crabbe wasnt sure if he should be mad or laugh.

Rey turned around, not saying a word, and he tucked his wand away as he strode back to where he was sitting. Most of the common room was just quiet and shocked.

Marie composed herself and snuck off to an empty corner of the common room, away from the still laughing Draco and mostly shocked Crabbe.

Rey took out one of his textbooks and started reading. Anything to avoid talking to people at this point. He could hear the mumurs around him, and caught the faint sound of his housemates wondering what had gotten into Rey today. He was usually calm, kind, and well-liked, but it was becoming awfully hard to keep his cool nowadays.
