Damian dismounted, more alert than usual since it was nighttime… and his companion had a thing for trouble that was worse than his uncle's.

she got off thorn and she took off and briar walked away.
Damian quickly shifted again, padding after her.
briar sighed.
Damian's ears perked up, but he didn't say anything.
she leaned against a tree.
Damian sat down on his haunches, watching the other,
she looked down to see her arm bleeding.
Damian saw it too, shifting he watched her with concern, "How long has that been there?"
"awhile".
"Do you want me to bandage that?" he asked, unsure of how to react.
"no that little prat bit me" she said.
"What?! When?" asked Damian, surprised and a little angry.
"he was ontop of me".
"Why didn't you tell me that jerk hurt you?" asked Damian more concerned than anything.
"it wasn't important at the moment".
Damian looked at her in pure confusion, "How is you bleeding not important?!"
her eyes flickered red then back to blue.
Damian watched in confusion.. "Briar… are you sure you're ok?"
"You need to leave" she said.
Damian tensed… "Briar what's wrong…"
her tounge ran across her teeth where she felt fangs.
Damian paled, but he didn't move, "Briar…"
"Leave or you'll have to kill me.
Damian tensed further… "I'm not leaving you… and I'm definitely not killing you…"
Briar dropped to the ground her blonde hair going black and her eyes going red.
Damian tensed, shadows swirling around him, his eyes locked on Briar. "Briar…." his voice was almost emotionless, cold, firm.
she brought her head up to look at him "kill me before I kill you".
Damian didn't move, "I'm not going to kill you… I can't…."
"you have to" she said "please".
