Jasmine had arrived at the palace at the same time as another girl, with pretty blonde hair, and the two were talking quietly now. Katelyn laughed softly at a joke Jasmine told her. They had hit it off quickly, and both of them were glad they at least knew someone here.
Calista got there soon enough and walked in and looked around the room. She knew no one there. She found an empty table and sat.
(Oof, can I hop on board with a totally new character because my brain really isnt working and I dont have time to do a template)
Alli jumped off the plane and removed her high heels. Cringing at the hot pavement, she ran, clutching the pumps. Late to the selection? She thought to herself as she ran across the trail surrounded by fenced-off fans. A few people cheered for her, but being a four, there weren't many. Most of the people here were either activists for caste equality egging on sevens and eights or simple-minded fans holding signs with pictures of the twos and threes who would be in the selection. Her caste put her smack-dab in the middle, leaving her with only people from her town who had seen her around and snatched up a ticket to the debut.
She approached the door, and a guard opened it for her. She felt bad running barefoot across the shiny newly cleaned floors, but Alli had other things on her mind. How does the prince feel about being tardy?
Zaera left the plane and immediately heard the screams that came with her appearance. Of course some people would be here for her. She put on her signature smile that was so forced it felt natural and made her way past the crowd, smiling waving, and greeting anyone she could. The walk took her a minute or two before she reached the car to take her to the palace, but she was ready to get there. She entered and let the car take her to the palace where she exited and walked inside only a few minutes off, call it fashionably late. She could use that as an excuse right? She was a model.
Talin heard the ladies arrive, sighing as he realized he didn't know anything about how he was supposed to act during this whole thing. Was he supposed to greet them all right now? Or was it later? He groaned and ran a hand through his hair, deciding just to go down right now. He walked out of his room and rolled his shoulders as he walked down to where they were supposed to be gathering, wondering if they had any more clue what they were doing than he did.
(Her name is Blair Axis, can she be a teir 3?)
(And they're just hopping off the plane?)
(Yeah, most of them are inside already though)
(Kk)
Blair Axis stepped out the doors and sighed, she would much rather be back at her house, picking berries with her brother than here.

Aza stood in awe, looking at the beautiful grand staircase that lead to the palace.
Alli turned a corner and found herself face to face with a wall. She turned and ran up some steps. She had no idea where she was going.
Blair waved to a few screaming girls before walking inside and staring at the grand staircase in awe
Aza carefully walked up the steps, turning a corner and bumping into a girl who clearly had no idea where she was going. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry." Aza curtsied gracefully and swept her arm out. "Forgive me for that. I'm so sorry. I'm Aza." She sighed. "I'm so, so, SO sorry."
"Ha, no worries!" Alli curtsied back. "I'm Alli. Good to meet you!"
"Thank you! I'm so excited to meet the prince. How about you?" Aza smiled a little. Alli seemed nice enough.
Allie grinned. "I'm so excited! I…" She blushed. "It sounds silly, but I really think he's the one. I've never been so in love with anyone or anything. Then again, there aren't many boys at home. I'm from Reeza," she added. Reeza was a minuscule town on the outskirts of the country.
(Can I have Blair bump into you guys?)
(Yeah! Everyone needs friends in the selection, after all!)
"Oh. I've never heard of Reeza. I'm from Caliph." Aza said. "I'm so excited to see my room!" Aza changed the subject.
"I think I've been there. I'm excited, too! I read this book by Queen Helena about her experience in the selection, and the description of her room took up ten pages! I love reading accounts by old queens. Helena was my favorite, even though she died nearly a century ago. Wow, I'm babbling a lot. I don't usually do this. Nothing I'm saying makes any sense! I guess I'm just nervous."
Talin heard talking as he descended the stairs, making sure he looked presentable since he knew some of the ladies were probably only a little ways away. He hated having to be formal but if none of these girls knew where they were supposed to go or how they were supposed to act, he'd have to be. Exactly as he figured there were two girl talking on the stairs. He didn't make any effort to introduce himself and he stopped, waiting to see if they would notice him.
Blair walked inside, staring at all the beautiful things. She didnt realize she had bumped into two girls, conversing with one another.
Zaera spotted the prince had stopped by two conversing girls. She felt no need to go and talk to him immediately however talking to the others would be nice. It was time to put the ditzy act on again, if only her parents would have let her seemed smarter when she was getting started.
Alli looked over Aza's shoulder. Ohmygoshit'sTalin. She waved with the same hand she held her shoes in, and cringed. Making her way over to him, she placed the pumps on the floor and stepped into them. "Hi," she said, smiling and offering him a handshake. "I'm Alli. Great to meet you!"
Blair apologized to the two girls. Upons seeing the prince, she turned around and walked away.
Alli looked at Blair as she walked away, tucking her hair behind her ear nervously. "Oh. Did she… I hope she didn't think she couldn't talk to you because I am."
