(I’m also experiencing writers block so that is not helping anything atm)

(You know what I did to help that that actually works surprisingly well? I made a scene-by-scene summary of my story and named them all, then separated them into chapters. That way, when I look at it, I just work on the scene I'm in the mood to write, then when I'm really in the zone I correct and connect it.)

(What if you’re not in the mood to write at all? I want to but just can’t pick up my laptop and actually do it…)

(That's fair. I think you can't really force yourself to do it, but when I really can't bring myself to write I sort of think about the plot and random pieces of it. That actually helps a lot with cleaning the plot and I get some great ideas when I do that. Or you can do characterisation via imagining your characters in random situations, whether they're every day or based off of your story. I find it helps to clarify the characters in your head and then when you put the words down it's easier and more believable because they seem more real to you.)
