"I was a long distance runner too. One of the best. Did you go to Hailee's school? Cause if so, I think I remember him. He was a dick."

Deleted user

"Yeah. Him. Hated him. He was so rude and stuck up. Was glad to see him go."

@gracehustle

She rolled her eyes, "He was a super nice guy once you got to know him. The only reason we broke up is because he moved and neither of us wanted to deal with a long distance relationship."

Deleted user

"He was a dick. Thought he was so much better than the rest of the track team because his parents were rich. He only got in because they bribed the coach. He was terrible."

@gracehustle

"You obviously didn't see the amount of time he put into training and getting better, he wanted to do good." Alex shrugged, "I mean, I didn't really care for his terribleness at sports, his personality and looks were far better."

Deleted user

"You obviously didn't know him like I did. When he first joined, me, the guys and the girls tried to be nice to him and make him feel included. But as soon as he was a jerk, we left him alone because he wasn't worth it."

@gracehustle

She looked over at Matteo, "He tried to be nice, but it's just his personality, he didn't like to deal with people that he knew weren't worth his time."

Deleted user

"Well then that was everyone on the team. We left him alone because he wasn't worth our time."

@gracehustle

She shrugged, "And that's why he was either a jerk to you guys, or didn't talk to you. Anyway, enough about my former boyfriend, let's focus on getting back and slapping Hailee, ok?"

Deleted user

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. We tried to be nice to him. But he was a stuck up dick from Day 1. We left him alone because he practically forced us to."

@gracehustle

"Please don't start this again, I don't like trying to defend former boyfriends when i'm talking with my new one. It always leads to fights and then breakups and then the cycle repeats." She sighed and looked over at him, "Please? Let's not bring him up again, ok?"

Deleted user

Matteo sighed reluctantly. "Fine. I'll leave his jerk ass alone."

Deleted user

Matteo smirked. "I never said that we were dating, just that you had to go on a date with me. Whoever said it was offical?"

Deleted user

Matteo smiled. "Who ever said I wanted to be just friends?"

@gracehustle

She let out a small laugh, "You didn't," They came across an intersection and Alex made sure that they weren't going to be hit before tugging his across the street, "This is New York, cross streets as quick as you can." She said.

Deleted user

"I've lived in New York most of my adult life. We might sound British but we aren't anymore."

Deleted user

Matteo let out a shout of laughter. "I know. At least some of them speak Spanish. The three of us don't look Latino exactly, mainly because Dad' not full Latino."

@gracehustle

"See, I can't understand spanish, I'm terrible with foreign languages." She shrugged, "I wish I had some different blood in me, I'm very Northern European, and Irish."

Deleted user

Matteo smirked. "Bueno, entonces no tendrás idea de lo que estoy diciendo en este momento."

@gracehustle

"Hm?" She tilted her head to the side slightly and looked up at him, "This isn't going to be something you do if you don't want me to know what you're saying, alright?"

@gracehustle

"Stop it." She pushed him lightly and glared non threateningly, "The only words I know in spanish are the colors, some numbers, and some very basic sentences."

Deleted user

Matteo picked Alex up and threw her over his shoulder. "You're adorable when you're trying to be threatening."

@gracehustle

She squeaked and hung onto his shirt for dear life, "Put me down Matteo," She said, squirming around even though she probably looked stupid. She tugged her crop top down a little since it had rode up and she fixed her shorts as well.

Deleted user

"No, I like you on my shoulder," Matteo said, turning a corner. "Besides, you're really light."
