She chewed her lip and said, "Runner è così bello." She altered her voice to mimic an Italian accent.

"Makes sense. Didn't see any dishes in the sink and doubted you would have done them."

She looked up. "Ass."

He looked down at her. "Am I wrong?"

"No, but you don't need to point out my incompetence."

Runner rolled his eyes. "You take things way to seriously sometimes."

She scowled. "I do not."

He gave her an Oh, really? look.

She stuck out her tongue. "You didn't ask what I said."

He tilted his head in confusion.

"Runner è così bello."

"Oh, yeah. What does that mean?"

"Guess."

"Runner should put on a shirt?"

A smile twitched at her lips. "Try again."

"Hm…." He tilted his head as he thought. "I…honestly don't know."

"Runner is so beautiful."

He smiled slightly. "Yes, I look so beautiful only wearing blood soaked jeans."

She grinned mischievously. "Then take 'em off."

"That's a hard no, I'm already freezing."

"Good, because I'm now entering the room." Zeus's voice called from upstairs.

"Are you trying to freeze me to death?" he shot back

Zeus came downstairs wearing a hoodie and jeans. "No, I just don't particularly care to watch you two kids kiss and make up." He rinsed off his plate and dumped it into the sink.

He snorted, shaking his head in amusement.

"Besides," he jerked his head at a scowling Tessa. "Tessie's a natural furnace."

"That is definitely true." He was warming up already.

Tess crossed her arms and fixed her brother with a death glare. "Are you done? Don't you have work to do?"
Zeus smirked and mimicked her stance. "It can wait."
The two then proceeded with an intense staring contest.

He watched the two bicker with amusement.

Without breaking his stare, Zeus said, "Why don't you head up to my room for a change of clothes? Shirts should fit, I'm not too sure about pants though."
Tessa glared at Zeus. "Don't be nice to him! Being nice means you'll get along. Getting along means you two will gang up on me. You two ganging up on me means absolute humiliation on my part. Absolute humiliation on my part means bad for me!"

Runner shrugged. "Better than nothing." He broke away from Tess and walked up the stairs, finding Zues's room after a minute or so. He found a pair of athletic shorts that were barely small enough to not be falling down every two seconds, and a black shortsleeve T-Shirt. He walked back down the stairs, cracking his knuckles.
