She noticed and smiled at the courtesy. She leaned back, wrapping her legs around him to hold on as she flung her arms out, savoring the feel of the ocean breeze whipping past them. I love flying.

He playfully twisted suddenly, not hard enough to knock her off but enough to scare her
She yelped and latched onto him, then scowled. "Not you too!"
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"There are multiple people who try and knock me off balance or off of buildings when I'm not holding on properly," she complained, but was having too much fun to really mean it.
"Ah, but mine wasn't out of maliciousness. It was out of love," he said, spinning around for a moment.
"Uh uh," she said with a smile. He's too cute.
"Are you feeling alright? Need to go back?"
She leaned back again, closing her eyes. "Nope. I'm perfect."
"I can only keep this up for about another half hour. Just warning you."
She frowned. "Then let's go back." She twisted around, feeling for any pain. None so far. "What'dya say to an afternoon at the beach?"
"You really wanna see my muffin top?" he asked, turning around.
She raised her brows. "I highly doubt you have one."
"Maybe not a muffin top, but it ain't pretty." They reached the balcony.
She hopped off, waiting for him to shift back to respond.
In a flash of light, Runner was back.
She crossed her arms. "My scars aren't pretty, but I sure as hell flaunt that shit. It's a perfect 'fuck you' to society. And a self esteem booster." She offered a smile. "If you're that uncomfortable, you can wear a shirt."
He shrugged. "That was the plan, Stan."
She tilted her head up at the sun. "You want to eat now, or go to the beach and eat there?"
"This is your idea, so you choose."
"Picnic," she declared, then frowned. "Do you not want to go?"
"I don't care either way."
"You don't seem to care anytime. It's starting to make me feel like I'm pushing you around."
He shrugged again. "I'm just going with the flow."
"Suppose I shouldn't expect more from a runner."
"But, hey, I didn't let you push your tongue into my mouth." He smiled, knowing he got her.
She flushed red. "Let's not talk about that. Ever."
He couldn't help but laugh.
She got even redder and ducked her head. "Shut up."
He eventually calmed down, wiping his eyes. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry…"
