"You should absolutely do that." Diana said enthusiastically, nodding.
((You wanna know how to angst this up? At a later point, Diana is trying to decide whether or not she should get back on the road.

"After we eat. After," She reasoned. This is some good pasta
(hells yeah)

She laughed. "Fine, after. You know what else we have to do after?"

"What?" Arwen had a look on her face.

"Cuddling, and finishing that movie we started." Diana grinned. "And, you know, a little bit of kissing."

Arwen grinned back. "That sounds like a great plan. You should be the idea person, not me," Her grin widened.

Diana pointed her fork at Arwen, a noodle on the end. "I'm not the one who came up with painting the bedroom though."

"That's a good point. We both have fantastic ideas," She took another bite. "There should be a company of just, like, ideas, then we could work there."

"We could start one. What would we call it?" Diana made a face, thinking as she shoved another forkful into her mouth.

"Inspirare. Inspire in Latin," Arwen pulled her highschool classes back. Maybe they were useful.

"Ooh, you know Latin? Mom made me learn the entire, and admittedly dead, language back during my witchy training sessions." Diana smiled wistfully, a haze of some memory passing over her eyes.

"Oh, that's awful. My mum never cared enough to make me do anything," Arwen said with a shrug.

"No, no, it was great. A bit of a bore at times, but she was always so busy with work that I waded through it. We didn't get to spend much time together before-well, yeah." Diana cringed and shrugged. "I'm, uh, sorry your mom didn;t…"

"Um, it's OK! I'm sorry that you didn't get much time with her…" She trailed off

"Goddess, we really are awkward, aren't we?" She chuckled, shaking her head.

Hazel offered a smile. "Yeah."

"Okay, favorite childhood memory, go." Diana grinned.

"Um. Meeting my ex. Yours?"

"Casting my first hex, on my brother's bully. It was worth it, even with the horrible cold I caught for the next week. Meeting your ex?"

"The one who died. She fixed me. I'm glad you stood up for him." She replied smiling at her memories.

"Oh. I can see how that would count for that. And it was great. I ended up punching his bully in the throat as soon as I was back to school, but that was a hugely complicated time in our lives. Lotta things going on."

Arwen strode over and hugged Diana. "You're amazing."

Diana froze, a bit startled by the hug, but smiled and wrapped her arms around Arwen. "I can be, from time to time."

Yup. Majority of it," she let go and backed away.

"Eeehhhhhhh…." She made a face, tilting her head to one side and shrugging one shoulder.

Arwen made a face back and noticed the time. "Damn, it's late."

"You tired?" Diana asked, suddenly a bit concerned.

"no. I was just stating that it's late," Arwen looked over. "Are you?"

"Always. Doesn't mean I can sleep." Diana shrugged.

"That's a very true statement," Arwen agreed, thinking about the last few nights.
