Still red in the face, Barry nodded, setting his phone down. “How much of that did you hear?”
Still red in the face, Barry nodded, setting his phone down. “How much of that did you hear?”
“Just her screen and, uh, your end of the conversation… She seemed very curious about something,” Kasey murmured, the pink returning to her cheeks.
Barry groaned loudly, hiding his flushed face. “I’m sorry about her…” he mumbled, flustered. “She likes to make fun of me..”
Kasey gave a slightly flustered shrug, leaning into his side. “It’s okay… We do live together. It’s not like it’s not a possibility for us to do that… In fact, I’m sure most couples would have by now. Not that I’m complaining! I’m good with waiting. In fact, I’d prefer it. I think it’s cool to wait until afte marriage to do it,” she rambled a little.
Barry slipped an arm over her shoulders, still blushing. “Yeah—I agree. I agree completely.”
Kasey let out a long breath and buried her face in his shoulder. “Good… I’m glad you do,” she murmured, her cheeks heating up in embarrassment of what she’d just said.
(They’re so awkward…. I love these two 😂)
Barry pressed a kiss to her forehead. “Eva’s really excited to meet you,” he said, tactfully changing the subject.
“Yeah?” Kasey hummed, pulling away to smile at him. “Tell me about her. I want to know what she’s like.”
Barry grinned. “She’s about two years younger than us, but she may as well be my twin sister. We used to be super close before I left for college, we practically lived under the same roof for a while, but we stayed friends even after I moved out. She’s about half a head shorter than you with pixie-cut, curly black hair. Super mischievous. Very music-y, has a band.”
Kasey’s smile widened into a grin as Barry spoke. He sounded so fond of his cousin. It was rather cute, really.
“She sounds amazing. I can’t wait to meet her,” she mused gently.
“I can’t wait for you to meet her, too,” he answered honestly, “You two are going to get along great.”
“I’m sure we will,” Kasey agreed with a grin. “Now… How about a break from wedding planning, hm? We’ve been at this all day. I think we deserve a break.”
(Skip? not it)
(Nekdjfjfn Urgh. Okay. I was thinking maybe some cute fluff here, though. Where should we skip to?)
(Oh we don’t have to skip if you don’t want)
(Lol. Idrk I guess. 🤷🏼♀️ Up to you.)
(Nah you choose)
(Jekdjdb Okay… Uh…….. Hm. I mean, we could do fluff. It would probably just be cuddles and kisses in bed. 🤷🏼♀️)
(if you want!)
(So just… keep going, then? Or skip to do cuddles? Because I was thinking we would just have them do cuddles now.)
(Yeah, sure!)
(Okie doke. Then I think Barry was supposed to respond?)
Barry grinned, leaning over to blow a raspberry against her neck. “Cuddles? Please?”
Kasey sucked in a breath and shot him a wide-eyed look. "Barr! Gosh… Yes, cuddles, definitely."
Still grinning, he leaned over again, blowing a second raspberry against her skin.
Kasey leaned away from him, shooting him a playful glare. “Stop it. Let’s go cuddle in bed, love. Not tickling me by doing that.”
Huffing dramatically, he rose to his feet, offering her a hand. "Fine, fine. No tickling—for now."
Kasey room his hand and let her lips fall into a smile again. "Good. Because cuddling is ruined if I'm tickled, you know."
Barry pulled Kasey to her feet and pressed her body against his, nudging their noses gently together. "Aww…. party-pooper…"
Kasey let out a surprised huff of breath and looked up at Barry, her eyes searching his. "Am not…" she breathed, her breath mingling with his due to their proximity to each other.
