"Thanks…" A nurse runs over to them.
"I want to inform you that Mr. Genn can go home tomorrow morning. We're going to keep him here to keep an eye on him."

“O-okay…thank you”

Landyn nods silently.
"Thank you for trusting in our service."

Alex was a bit weirded out honestly. “Um you’re welcome I guess…”

She smiles and walks off.
"Never trust hospital huh?"

“Nope, too many questions”

Landyn laughs nervously

Alex leaned his head on Landyn’s good shoulder with a sigh.

Landyn sighs. "I-I…I don't want us feeling like this…Can't we go back to before this happened…"

“I don’t think we can go back far enough to a time when we were both just okay. I wish we could….”

"At least before…This happened…" He said as tears started to form

“There’s nothing we can do to undo it, but I promise you, we’ll make it through this. And I’ll never leave your side.”

Landyn let the tears fall. "…"

“Hey…look at me”

He slowly looks at him.

“We’re going to be okay, we’ll figure this out…I promise. Maybe someday we can both be okay again”

"M-Maybe…"

“We will. I know we can. I’ll do anything I have to to make sure you’re happy”

Landyn leaned in a little then pulled away knowing Alex might not want to.

Alex gently pulled him back “it’s okay”

"…Y-You sure?"

He nods

Landyn sighs. "Can I kiss you?"

“Please do”

Landyn leans in and kisses him softly.

Alex gently puts a hand on his cheek

Landyn let the tears fall silently.

He brushed one of the tears off his cheek. He wasn’t willing to pull away just yet.

Landyn hugs him tightly.
