Alex cast an angry glare at Landyn’s dad. “It’s okay babe…”

His dad stayed quiet.

No one made his boyfriend cry and got away with it.

"I was drunk…"
"Oh, yea…Mountain dew makes you drunk…"

Alex was slowly getting more upset at this guy.

"Then you gave your kid alcohol. Gee that's even better."

Alex firmly took his hand before looking at Landyn’s dad. “I think you should leave”

Landyn looks away. "Until you become the person I once called dad…I don't want to see you…"

“Are you okay?” He asked Landyn

Landyn was crying.

Alex pulled him closer “shhhh it’s okay, I’m here”

Landyn hugs him tightly"…W-What happened to him…He was so…k-kind…"

“I don’t know babe…”

He ignored the pain and hugged tighter.

“Be careful, you don’t want to reopen the wound…”

Landyn sighs and sits up trying to calm down.
The nurse comes in. "Are you okay sir?"

Alex didn’t want to answer for him.

"I-I'm fine…Thanks for asking."
"O-Okay…Here's your medicine…" She hands it to him.
"Thank you." He 'Smiles ' and takes it
She smiles back and leaves.

Alex looked at him with slight concern

He sighs shakily. "Sorry you had to hear that…"

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

"I…I was afraid too…."

Alex hugged him gently “I told you I won’t let anyone hurt you ever again”

"How would you feel knowing that you almost went through the same thing as the one you love? You'd be afraid…You wouldn't want to trigger them."
