She shrugged and took a sip of her highly caffeinated and sugarfied coffee, "You gotta do what you gotta do to stay awake and not murder anyone." She raised an eyebrow, "I bet they're six star waffles, I can barely cook so I'd say that they're going to taste amazing even if they were barely cooked."
He chuckled and shook his head "a little violence in the morning to get the blood pumping never hurt anyone. And don't jinx it, for all I know, theres still batter in there." He said, looking at the waffle
She laughed lightly, "Don't encourage that side of me." She set down her cup and glanced at him, nodding to the waffle, "Can I try it right now?"
He nodded and passed her a plate "it's only a crime if you're caught." he said with a wink, also passing her a smaller plate of fruits. He pulled out a phone and played some soft music while they ate
"Again, don't encourage me," she said with a laugh, shoveling the food into her mouth, "This is amazing, you can cook anytime."
He smiled and blushed a bit "us that an invitation to come back?" He asked, trying the food and nodding in satisfaction
"You can come back whenever you want, even if it's not to make food." She said with a smile, abandoning her waffles for a moment as she drank some more coffee, "I trust you, I have an extra key as well if you would like it."
He took a sip of water and shook his head "I wouldn't want to feel like I'm intruding or going into your person space." He said "how the sugar?" He asked, not being able to believe that she could drink coffee with that much sugar
She nodded and then chuckled, taking another gulp of the coffee, "It's pretty good." She said, "The caffeine along with the huge amount of sugar make it taste amazing, I know I won't fall asleep in class today because of it,"
He nodded "you won't sleep for 3 days straight." He said. "want Lindsey to pick us up.?"
"Sure, otherwise I can just walk to class if she doesn't want to, that's what I do every day anyway." She finished off her waffles and fruit and downed the rest of her coffee before starting to pack her backpack with all the things she needed for class.
He nodded and called his cousin
"What 5the hell do you want at this time Jassie?" She groaned with sleep
"Mind picking us up at Scar's?" He asked, adding an apology for waking her
"Sure thing, you slept at her house? Wow Jassie…"
"It's not what you think, see you 7:00."
He shook his head and grinned "she'll be here soon."
Scarlett chuckled, "Alright then, are you sure you don't want anything else for breakfast? Or to drink? I really don't mind if you take anything." She swung her heavy backpack over her shoulder and walked to the couch, dumping it on the floor next to herself as she flipped the TV on to see if there were any good shows on.
He shook his head "I'm fine, don't worry about me." he took her plate and washed it n the sink along with his own "Can you come by the studio this afternoon? I know the kids would love to see you again."
"Of course! I can either come by before my class or after, whatever would work better." She smiled and looked over at him, humming softly and then glancing back at the TV. There was nothing good on and she turned it back off, sighing, "I really should clean this weekend…"
"cleanings fun!" He said sarcastically, sitting down next to her "anything on?"
"Nothing." She looked over at him and shook her head, offering him the remote, "You can see if you like any of the shows that are on."
He took the remote from her and clicked through channels "news, paid program, shitty news, politics, weird cartoons, Hallmark romance movie, Twilught do some reason, spoooooorts….nothing!" He clicked the TV off and sighed " yeah, nothing good is ever on at this time."
She nodded, "I usually just end up blasting music while I waste time." She laid her head back on the couch and sighed, "You have anything you want to do before I go to class? Do you want to meet up for lunch?"
He nodded "Musics good. and yeah, I'd love to meet up at lunch. When and where? or are you not allowed to leave campus?" he asked turning his head so he could see her better
"Technically I'm not supposed to leave campus, but I do anyway." She said with a shrug, pulling out her phone and getting a song going, "I don't care where we go, as long as it's not a super expensive restaurant."
"Aw but I love spending my money on food I could probably make cheaper at home." he wined. He rolled his eyes and smiled "trouble maker." he muttered teasingly
She chuckled, "I'm just the worst, not wanting to but super expensive food from on campus, just the worst." She grinned and poked him in the side before leaning against him.
"you should be ashamed of yourself," he said with a laugh as she poked him. He wrapped her in his embrace "on a scale of restaurants, where MacDonalds is at the bottom and say….I don't know, a really high-end restaurant is at the top, where do you land, price wise?"
"Well, usually it's something just above McDonalds," She said, shrugging, "If it's a special occasion like someones birthday or I did well on a super important test I'll treat myself to something more expensive."
"so on a normal day, Burger kings or Wendy's and on a good day….Chili's?" he asked with a grin "Priorities are off, way off."
She nodded, "That's about right," She smiled, "What do you mean 'priorities are way off'?"
He shrugged "you should treat yourself more often. Be a little rebellious once in a while. Life's too short to stay safe," he said
"You do realise I'm a broke college student, right?" She asked, "The only rebellious things that I can do that don't require me to spend a bunch of money are either illegal or below my standards." She looked up at the ceiling and smiled, "I am saving up money to get a tattoo though, I'm almost a quarter of the way there."
He smiled "oh what?" He asked "must be a good size if it costs more."
