Diana stood, rubbing the back of her neck, face a bright red as she mumbled something.
Diana stood, rubbing the back of her neck, face a bright red as she mumbled something.
"What was that?" Arwen asked in regard to the mumbled speech. "I'm sorry that I'm a bit much."
"I said…I do. Er, only if you're okay with it…." Diana looked up, smiling sheepishly.
"Like I said, more than happy to, it's up to you though," She grinned at Diana.
She took a step towards Arwen, regaining some confidence. "Well then, what are we waiting for?"
Arwen took a step forward and placed her mouth on Diana's, trying not to seem desperate.
Diana's arms snaked around Arwen's waist, pulling her a bit closer as she smiled into the kiss.
Arwen held her close, enjoying herself all the while.
Diana pulled away just a bit to breathe, a slightly awestruck look on her face. "Huh."
"What's huh?" Arwen smiled like the mad hatter.
"You." She grinned, a lopsided smile.
"How am I huh?" Her smile was breathtaking.
Diana didn't reply, just leaned forward to press a bunch of quick kisses all over her face.
(I have to go to bed, I'll reply tomorrow)
((Alrighty! G'night, sleep tight!
Arwen pressed a quick kiss on Diana's jawline. "Are you hungry? It's kinda late and we haven't eaten since at least this morning."
"A bit." Diana replied, not wanting to let go of Arwen, despite actually being hungry.
"Do you want to go out or stay in?" Arwen asked, threading her fingers through the others.
"Stay in? That way I can just…" Diana wrapped her free arm around Arwen, pulling her close.
"Okay. Do you like pasta? Any allergies or are you a vegetarian?" She hel Diana close, hand on her hip.
"I love pasta, I'm allergic to carrots, and I am not vegetarian." She replied.
"It's going to be maybe 30 minutes, okay? Would you like to watch a movie?" She gave her a sideways look.
"I can help, you know." Diana grinned. "I may not be the best cook, but I know how to use knives."
"Oh, geez, I'm scared now," She mocked fear. "But the sauce just needs to thaw and I need to cook the pasta, so it's not too much."
"I still don't want to let go of your hand." She said, pouting.
"We'll have to at some point," She said reluctantly. "Here's to hold you off for the time it takes, okay?" Arwen gave her a quick kiss, ending with her biting Diana's lip playfully.
Diana let out a small gasp, pulling Arwen closer. She would let her go eventually, maybe a few moments later, but not quite yet.
Arwen grinned. She kissed Diana again, but slower this time, hoping she didn't seem desperate.
Diana didn't seem to care about appearing desperate, wrapping her arms around Arwen's waist.
She kissed like the waves hitting sand. It was refreshing and seemed like those times when the summer rain came.In all of her life, Arwen had never felt like this. It was different this time.
