Silver's eyes went wide. "Hmmm thanks but no. Definitely not in broad daylight. We're in a neighborhood so… yeah, Ben would also probably kill me." she took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. No. As much as she yearned to catch air drafts under her wings and wheel around in the fresh air… no. "Sorry, it's just… maybe not the best idea. Right now."
Sung keeps up her polite smile, but a slight furrow appears between her eyebrows as she mulls over the situation.
The pains of this group being thrown together in the midst of trial are still evident. But after their all going through what they did those many, many years….it wouldn't be right for them to do anything but stick together, however uncomfortable and difficult "sticking together" seems to be. Sung, her husband, and Tod "loning it" with just their group of three was clearly a bad choice.
"Violet…could I talk with you a moment?"

(sorry babes! I forgot to check here for a few days. What would the timeskip look like? Isn't the plan right now to just…. sorta set a trap? Maybe they should figure out some specifics first. I thought they were kind of waiting for Ben to finish his emotions and then they'd talk some plans out? Idk I'd just rather have a bit more of an idea of where we're going before we skip.)

Violet turns to face Sung and nods.
"Mmn, yes. We can talk upstairs if you'd like. We're less likely to be interrupted there."
She nods towards the spiral staircase.
Cage leans on Ben as he finishes cleaning up what he's had out.
"Do you think Silver likes her wings?"
Ben rolls his eyes and halfheartedly shoves Cage off of him. "How would I know?"
He turns and looks over the group. Sil and Hush were on the railing of his balcony… sitting unsafely. He'd fix that later. Dash was watching the camera's, though nothing would probably appear. Violet and the new kid were whispering suspiciously, and Leo and Shadow were basically just hanging out.
He runs a hand through his hair.

Cage comes up beside him and takes his arm. "How exactly are we 'preparing' Sil to be bait? Are we like going to make her look like a homeless kid or something? Can I help?"
Silver turned her attention to the boys in the kitchen. It looked like Ben had made… cookies? She grinned a little, despite her anxiety, and hopped off the railing, sailing down to the floor below in time to catch Cage's question. "Yes, that is what I'd like to know. How is this bait thing gonna work? Cuz they already know about us, but if I just waltz down the street, even at night, other people are gonna notice and that's not gonna help us."
Ben rubs the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes for a moment before shaking Cage off again.
"Вы не- Agh. You're not just going to waltz down the street, Sil. They'll come back to the warehouse. They haven't yet, but they will. When they do you'll be there for them to catch. And I'm not the one who said 'prepare', that was Violet. Maybe she wants to go over what you should say to them when you're caught? Я не знаю."
Sung nods and follows Violet upstairs. Tod lets her hand go for just a moment but grabs it again once they reach the top of the staircase.
Suddenly, for some unknown reason, Sung feels almost hesitant to share.
"Violet, it's my fault. It's my fault he's gone."
Violet leads them into the library and turns, her mouth open to speak, when Sung makes her somewhat vague confession.
Which one? She's talking about her husband, right? Oh my.
She closes her mouth, shifting her weight and furrowing her brow.
"{insert Sung's husbands name here}?"

Sung nods and bites her lip, glancing down at Tod, meeting his big eyes. She looks back at Violet.
"I thought we were safe. I was stupid." Tod squeezes her hand. "I thought it would be safe enough for him to go out and find work." She shakes her head. "I pushed him to do it. And as soon as he started looking they must've noticed.
He didn't come home from an interview a week ago."

Violet turns her head just slightly, looking out the window.
They're pretending to hire people?
"Sung, it's not- you can't blame yourself for things like this. There are plenty of people in the world who could claim it as their fault. It's not yours to claim."
Sung shakes her head, making a fist at her side with her free hand. "But it is my fault. I convinced him to go. I basically handed him over to them…." She shakes her head again.

Silver nodded. "Okay, that sounds much better than what I imagined." she laughed and then caught sight of the timer on the oven. "Ben, are you making cookies?"
Ben tilts his head to one side, looking past Silver at what seemed to be the window.
"Я имею в виду- Maybe?" he admits rather quietly.
Cage bounces over to the oven, his eyes widening and his face lighting up. He gasps in pure delight.
Ben turns to glare his way, a few dark curls falling down in his face.
Sung shakes her head, making a fist at her side with her free hand. "But it is my fault. I convinced him to go. I basically handed him over to them…." She shakes her head again.

Violet rubs Sung's shoulder lovingly.
"Darling, I'm sure we've all done something similar. Calm down. We'll find him, alright?"
Silver laughed silently, a grin breaking her face apart. She turned away from Ben until she had her features under control and then leaned casually against the counter, arms crossed. "I didn't know you were an accomplished cook."

Shadow started walking over two the oven “ so ben what are you making?” He said with curiosity
"Ohh, you'll have to cook us something fancy sometime." Silver said, then instantly realized Ben probably wouldn't be so keen on the idea. The poor grumpy bean. "Well, you know, if we ever have a chance when we're not being hunted or running away. Which will probably be never so. Never mind. I'll just eat your cookies."
[ =d…..I want cookies now.]
Sung roughly swipes a tear away before it can escape. "Alright." She sighs shakily. "I'm just….." She gestures at Tod and he looks at his shoes as if he's done something he shouldn't have.
"I'm scared. And I'm worried. And I know you're all probably feeling the same but I just……I wish it could all be better just like that." She flushes a little at having unintentionally spilled her random private worries, but it feels good to let it out. "Sorry."
Violet smiles calmly, "I know, Sung. We all know. Just, hang in there." she squints, looking past Sung and at the door, listening to the conversations."Are you aware of our plan yet? You may be able to help."

Sung shakes her head. "No, but i'm glad there is one. Shall we join the others?"
"He's making cookies for us because Ben actually does like us even when he's a grumpy bean." Silver told Shadow as she turned away from Ben's exhausted stressing and plopped down on a couch in the living room.

Sung shakes her head. "No, but i'm glad there is one. Shall we join the others?"
Violet gives her a small, tight smile and takes her arm. "yes. "
And with that she leads them out of the library and down the stairs.
