Harley saw him and ran to him tieing the leash around his wrist.

"what in the-" the pup bounded to him, plastering him to the ground "hey girly," he said as she licked his face

Harley kissed his cheek.

"hi pretty one," he muttered to Harley "we need to talk."

He sat up and glanced at her "want to tell me what's going on between you and you're ex? that little stunt you pulled back there?"

"he still loves me he wasn't gonna take Jesse so I had to persuade him" she said.

He nodded in understanding "still, there were better ways of doing it." he muttered, glancing down at the dog and petting it gently

He stood "find me when you've sorted things out with your feelings. see you later Jesse." he said, petting the dog's head and heading back to his dorm.

Once back he sighed and punched a wall "god chance why are you so stupid?!" he slumped down onto the floor, cradling his hand

a few days later she had moved into an aprtment since she couldnt have a dog in the dorm and alex knocked on his door.

He had obediently done his work, hadn't fought back, not once when the other students taunted and tormented him. He handed in work on time and was always early to class. It was maddening to him "how do people do this for 4 years?" he muttered as he headed to the library for some silence
