So a few weeks ago, I was reading a fanfiction. Shocking, I know. Anyway, these characters were texting, and I came across this:
(character): i love that we have this chat.
(character): because i love all of you. i know i don't "know you" or whatever but you're all my friends and basically my family and i love being able to talk to you all. like, you all get it. and i love it. and i love you.
And like?? That's exactly how I feel about you guys. You're all my friends. You're my second family. I love you all so much. And like that character said, I don't know you irl. But you know what? That doesn't matter to me. Yes, I know there's a risk in trusting any of you, with any of my information. But I'm willing to take that risk, because if I don't? I'll miss out on being your friend. On having you as friends. And I don't want to lose that. I don't want to lose you. I only hope that you can understand just how much each of you means to me.

Since Emma (my baby sister)'s quotes aren't appreciated in the "Tell me things you heard High School/Middle School students say" thread, I'm going to add them here because she's adorable and everyone should know that.
So today, she was outside on the baby swing (the only one that isn't broken) when she suddenly started screaming "I'M GOING TO FLY HIGH IN THE SKY, AND I'M GONNA CATCH THE MOON POTATO, AND I'M GONNA SWIM WITH THE MOUSES, AND, AND I'M GONNA BE FLYING IN THE CLOUDS-" along with multiple other ridiculous things that I didn't hear.
Something about her wanting to catch the moon potato was really funny to me…
Does anyone else do this thing where you're just chilling but then suddenly you're hit with the realization of how incredibly beautiful this world is and how lucky you are to be living in such a place? It happens to me all the time, yet I forget it so easily…

My current mood:
Awake way past my bedtime because I’ve been hit with this sudden realization of just how lucky I am to have such amazing friends in my life. I often think that, considering the amount of mistakes I’ve made, I’m completely unlovable… Yet these people, these truly incredible people, they’ve seen all my weaknesses, my problems, my tears, my mistakes, my good side, my bad side, even my overly dramatic side, and they still love me like a sister.
And I’m not just talking about my IRL friends, you guys here on Notebook are incredible as well. You manage to still care about me despite my problems, which I realize can be p r e t t y difficult at times.
I truly do mean it when I say you’re too amazing for words to describe, you’ve done so many great things for me and I’m so truly pancake-flipping grateful to have people as wonderful as you in my life, I love each one of you guys so much, you have no idea…
