(Those are all real characters. Lol. Basically all of my supers are from the same universe. XD)

Kasey sighed and leaned against Barry’s side, resting her chin on his shoulder. “Anyone else you can think of?”

@blue_topaz

(Ooooh)

“Well….” Barry sighed. “I’ve got a bunch of crabby, judgemental relatives who we should probably invite, but…”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(I always create them and then decide that they should know everyone else. Lol. My friend has characters in the same universe, too.)

Kasey hummed and tilted her head to look up at him. "Do you want to invite them? You don't have to if you don't want to… Oh, that reminds me. I need to invite both sets of my grandparents."

@blue_topaz

(Ooh, cool)

Barry sighed through his nose. “I mean… no, I don’t really want them ruining our night with snarky comments as passive aggressive glares, but….. I sort of have an obligation to. What are your grandparents’ names?”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(And now I have to make something up. Lol.)

“Sharon and David Taylor, and Daniel and Deedee (her real name is Delilah, but she prefers to be called Grandma Deedee) Shaffer,” Kasey answered. “I’d you really don’t want to invite them, you don’t have to. It’s our night, after all. It should be how we want it.”

@blue_topaz

(lol)

Barry copied down the names, before shaking his head. "I guess….. but my family resents me enough already. I don't really want to add fuel to the fire…. I'll think it over."

@blue_topaz

"She's probably my nicest family member…" Barry murmured, "Evangelina. You should meet her soon, I bet you'd get along great."

Kasey smiled up at him softly. "I'd love that, actually. Sometime next weekend?" she paused after that, blinking once before her eyebrows shot up. "Dates! We need to pick a date for the wedding!"

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Kasey clicked her tongue and pulled her phone out of her pocket. She scrolled through her calendar, checking for an open weekend.

"Maybe the third weekend of June?" she suggested, looking back up at her fiancé — would she where get tired of that? —with a small smile.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Third. Lol. Whoops.)

Kasey grinned over at him and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “All right. Do you want to call your cousin and set up a time to get together?”

@blue_topaz

"Sure," Barry grinned, fishing his phone from his back pocket. "I, uh, actually used to talk to her about you. Before we started dating. She gave me lots of good advice."

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Kasey blinked couple of times before letting out a soft chuckle. “Needed girl advice? I think you did a pretty good job, love. I’m sure she’ll be proud to know that you’re now marrying me.”

@blue_topaz

Flushing lightly, Barry scrolled through his contacts lists, selecting his cousin's name and lifting the phone to his ear.

Kasey watched Barry softly for a moment before kissing his cheek again and standing. She would leave him to make the call in peace, heading to the kitchen instead.

@blue_topaz

“To what do I owe the pleasure?” his cousin’s familiar voice came through. He could tell she was smiling…

“Well… I’m getting married, Eva.”

Something akin to an excited scream burst through the receiver. Barry laughed and held it away from his ear.

“Oh my GOD!!”

@blue_topaz

While Eva immediately began bombarding him with a stream of high-pitches questions, Barry shot Kasey a grin.

“Yes, it’s Kasey. No, we’re not fighting anymore. Yeah, everything got sorted out when I was kidnapped. No, no, long story, I’ll tell you another time. Yes, you’re invited to the wedding, and yes, your lessons in flirting went well. No! No! Eva—No! We haven’t—Eva!!

@blue_topaz

Barry’s face was a deep crimson by now. “I’m going to hang up if you keep saying things like that,” he threatened, half-spluttering. “Anyways, Kasey and I wanted to know if you were free next weekend? Awesome! Yes, I promise I’ll fill you in. Ah—Right, you should probably go do that. Love you!”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Kasey our the last of the dishes away and made her way back to the dining room, giving Barry a small smile as she sat back down beside him. “That sounded like it went well.”
