@Tiani

Hey guys been a while since I commented on here but I just came out to my parents about being bi and my girlfriend (I'm a girl) and they actually are excited for me and want to meet her!!!! I'm so happy my step mom has always seemed okay but I was terrified of my dad he's not overjoyed I'm dating but he's happy I told him.

Oh my god, I’m so happy for you!!!

I guess I just can't laugh about disappointing my family, losing friends, and getting beat up.

That's not what I said…?

That's what happened when I came out. So I'm just letting people know sometimes you shouldn't just drop the bomb.

Jesus. Sorry for spreading a little courage and confidence.

What Eris is trying to say is that you may look back on the day you came out when you're all adults and find it somewhat amusing. Of course, it's not fun going through all this stuff because it's scary and some bad things could happen but at least later on you'll be proud that you came out no matter what the outcome was. I mean it was only a comment she made to lighten the mood but I guess not with what ya'll are saying.

@hollow-boned

anyway the big mood for being in this small school is having the girls either know or suspect i'm queer and have the boys not know a thing
i'd love to come out during my graduation speech in front of the whole 100-kid school that would be so funny

"also!! i'm like really fucking gay, which some of you already knew. well, pan, but most of y'all dont know what that means. anyway, i'd like to give a big shoutout to the boys and the homophobic comments that they've been making for two years. really taught me a lot about what straight people really think."

oof lmao I haven't come out yet but that sounds like such a tease~ There are a few girls at my school who like the opposite sex and I see them walking around with their girlfriends and it's so cute! Coming out in front of a crowd is such a power move my dude I think that small speech would shock a few lol

Why what happened

Welp, i've been out to a few of my other friends for a lil and they're all accepting people. (since about half of them are gay anyways and get it) So I figured I would tell my best friend since it was time and I figured she would be accepting about it…apparently not. My shining moments of confidence were shattered when she called me a bitch and sinner. That I can only be a girl and nothing else but a girl. I thought she would be fine with it since she knew I was bi, but she wasn't fine with that either apparently! She and I got in a fistfight and now im freaking losing my mind.

OH MY GOD that's awful I'm wanting to tell some of my close friends but I don't know how.

My one recommendation from what I learned, take a little and try to smooth sail your way into it, see how they are with something like it. Make sure your comfortable with telling them as well, don't do it just because you think you need to tell them. I made the mistake of thinking I had to tell her it was time, although everyone person reacts differently so you never know.
