Kai looked down at her phone, and rolled her eyes.

(I was thinking of doing a personality flip for lilly and having her be a rude, bitchy asshole)

Kai chugged the rest of her milkshake and turned to Laura. "Meeting's in ten, and Lilly needs a ride."

Laura's eyes quickly widened. "I totally forgot about that!"

Kai pulled out a twenty and tossed it on the table. "Take your ice cream with." She let go of Laura and slid out of the booth.

Laura did as told and followed Kai out of the booth.

Lilly sent a quick text back 'just kidding, I have Mickey with me.' she said, referring to her blue and black bike.

Kai waited for Laura to catch up, and quickly unlocked her truck, climbing in. "Let's see if we can beat Lilly."

Lilly put in her helmet and revved her engine. Backing out, she made a turn and started speeding towards the other school

"You're gonna drive fast, aren't you?" Laura asked quietly, getting into the passenger's seat.

"Buckle up, love." Was Kai's reply as she started the engine, a rare grin on her face.

Acacia grabbed the dress for Laura ran out of the house to her car. She put the gift in the back seat and made her way over to the meeting stop driving however fast she wanted.

Laura didn't even have time to realize that Kai had called her "love." She was just bracing herself and squeezing her eyes shut.

Weaving through cars, lilly nyoomed to the other school, wanting to beat her friends there.

Acacia had gone home, and was then closer to the meet up place than she thought. She pulled in before anyone else got there.

Kai took each turn and back alley short cut with a practiced ease, grinning wildly. She was a bit more careful than she would've been without Laura in the truck, but she was definitely breaking a couple laws.

Lilly took a U-turn and zoomed I to the parking lot of the other school

Kai pulled into the lot less than two second later, her truck making an unholy screeching sound as she pulled to a stop. She rolled down the window to lean halfway out, still grinning. "So close."

Acacia laughed as she looked to her other bandmates, "What took you guys so long?"

Laura was trembling, but she managed to wave at her friends. "H-Hi."

"I still won!" Lilly laughed then turned to face Acacia "these two were on a date and forgot about the meeting." She laughed

Laura turned pink. "D-Date? No, w-we just went out f-for ice cream."

Acacia had a little smirk, "Oh? News to me."

Kai didn't answer, neither confirming nor denying anything, and shut off her truck. She hopped out and went around to Laura's side to open her door for her.

Laura slipped out and looked up at Kai (since she is short and adorable) with wide eyes. "Did we go out on a date?" she asked quietly.

"Depends on whether you wanted it to be or not." Kai replied softly, shutting the door behind her.

"Did you want it to be?" she countered, wanting to find out what Kai thought of her.
