"I'm gonna get a book, I'll be back." He smiled and walked off to the books, skimming through the titles and picking out a few interesting sounding ones, slowly stacking them.in his arms

He sits on the ground holding Ridly close. "Why are you so cute…"

Lukas pulled out the book on stars and constellations and sat by the window, glancing up every so often at the night sky

Bailey yawned and opened her eyes slowly. She realized that someone had brought her back to her room and she frowned.

Lukas had gotten up earlier than normal, despite going to bed late. He studied the map Baily had given him and started to sketch a copy of it into his notebook.

Joseph sat in his bed reading a book Bailey brought him happily.

Bailey stood up and sighed. Lilly-Anne came in and smiled "you have a visitor, your parents are here to see you." She said. Bailey glared at the floor "tell them I dont want to see them." She spat. Lilly-anne was taken aback "what? Why?!" She asked. Bailey turned towards the window and sat down on the window seat ""I hate them."

When Lukas had finished the sketch, he went outside through his window, bringing Ridley along. "I really need a door."

Bailey glared at her and left her room. She whistled once and Comet came trotting

Placing the kitty down, Lukas watched the sky with a smile "feels like heaven looks like an asylum. Fun!"

Joseph sets the book down and stretches. "…Bored…" He gets up and heads out of his room.

Bailey reached the stairs leading up to the rooftop sitting area and sighed. Opening the door, she slowly removed her hand off the smooth doorknob and headed up

Ridley meowed in agreement
He walked around the grounds, lazily dragging his feet across the grass "Kemo starts tomorrow, yay!"

Upon reaching the patio, bailey sighed and sat at the edge of the roof, looking down at the other patients, moving around

He saw a little speck of a person on the roof and waved, hoping to God they wouldn't jump. He couldn't identify who it was.

Bailey saw someone waving and rolled her eyes, ignoring the person completely. The roof wasnt that high up and the day was beautiful, she lay back onto the concrete floor.

He suddenly remembered something and went back inside. Going to his room, he pulled out a handrawn poster the size of a larger canvas. Signing it on the back, he snuck into Baily's room and placed it on her nightstand with a note
Take this for safekeeping. Everytime I get through a round of kemo, I'll add onto it.

Bailey sighed and came back into her room to see a canvas sized poster in her room. She gasped and looked at all the details on amazement.

Heading back to his room, he dropped off his cat and went to the library to catch up on some reading

Bailey woke up with pain in her lower back and her left leg. She sighed and put on her brace before getting out of bed to find Lukas. They had been working on his handmade map lately and she wanted to finish before either of them got moved.

Lukas laid In bed, feeling terrible. The doctors had said a few more rounds of Kemo and he should've been fine. it's been 7. At this point he had just wanted to die, see his mother again. Leave this world behind. One thing was keeping him grounded, one person.
