"I…I'll stop using the pact once we're out of the meltwood, I promise," Jay said, suddenly ashamed of himself. Cyprus was telling him he shouldn't be in his head, that the two who had taken Addison had deserved it, that Addison deserved to be yelled at a little for being captured. He ignored it, not wanting to listen to Cyprus

@Skylark

(I leave for a day and Jay goes all Cyprus on everybody. Sheesh)
Phoenix was tired of waiting. Was Addi alright? When she saw the glow of Jay's fire, she got even antsier.
That's it, I'm going in there, she thought, Jay surely has it under control, and I refuse to wait any longer.
She opened her wings, making herself look more intimidating, and stalked in, twirling her dagger.
Then she stopped.
"Kaldor?! What are you doing here?" she exclaimed, looking at the purple-skinned man in surprise, then her eyes hardened.
"Did you help hurt Addi?"

@Natasha

Kaldor shook his head quickly. "No Princess. I would never hurt her. You know that. apparently she doesn't remember me though……….but no matter. I was trying to save her but that guy cut the drop on me." He said, jerking his thumb at Marfor. Addison looked up at Phoenix. "I'll be okay."

@Natasha

(yup the pact does that to Jay lol)

(Addison is kind of scared of Jay now………..not to mention he really hurt her feelings…………..)

@_sleeby_rat_

(no Cyprus will still be there, the pact just temporarily fuses them together so when Jay turns it off they go back to normal)

@_sleeby_rat_

Jay looked at her. He felt bad all of a sudden. Maybe using the pact wasn't the best idea he'd had all day. He was just trying to be cautious, but he felt like he had done something wrong. "Yeah, yeah we can go," Jay said softly

@Natasha

Addison nodded and turned away to start walking, then remembered that she couldn't go anywhere on her own. "Ummm………….."

@Skylark

Sestra, what's wrong? Other than the kidnapping, Phoenix transmitted, frowning, as they made their way out of the Meltwood.
