Barry pressed a loving kiss to the top of her head. “Me neither..”
Barry pressed a loving kiss to the top of her head. “Me neither..”
Kasey tightened her arms around him, basically squishing him. “I love you so much.”
(Skip soon?)
He chuckled softly, bowing his head to nuzzle her cheek.
(Sure. We can skip now if you want. To wedding planning, maybe?)
(Sure! not it)
(Dangit…)
Kasey plopped down into the couch beside Barry, bowl of ice cream in hand. “Okay, so colors. Any ideas? I’m thinking something with… Maybe gold?”
Barry reached over and scooped a finger’s worth of ice cream into his mouth. “Yum. And yeah, gold sounds good. What about gold, white, and pastel blue?”
“Hey! That’s my ice cream!” Kasey exclaimed with a laugh, hugging the bowl to her chest. “But those sound like good colors.”
“What’s yours is mine~” Barry dang teasingly, laughter lacing itself through each word be spoke.
Kasey crinkled her nose, sticking her tongue out at him. “With the exception of my ice cream,” she declared, a small grin on her lips.
“If you’d rather I kissed the residue from your lips,” he teased, “I’m all for that. What other ideas do you have for the wedding?”
Kasey blinked a couple of times, a light blush coating her cheeks. “Maybe I would,” she murmured back daringly. “As for the wedding… I was thinking outdoors? Maybe somewhere in a park. Like the woods or something?”
Chuckling, Barry placed his head on Kasey’s shoulder. “That would be nice… what season?”
“Mm… Spring, I think,” Kasey mused, spooning some ice cream into her mouth. She scooped up another spoonful and held it up to Barry’s lips. If he was going to eat her ice cream, she was going to feed it to him.
Barry gave her his signature lopsided grin, accepting the ice cream and licking his lips. “Yum~”
"Isn't that so much better than stealing it?" Kasey teased with a chuckle. "Do you want to look for venues? And should we have the whole wedding outdoors or just the reception?"
“Well, that depends,” Barry mused, “Wait—You do want to get married in church, right?”
Kasey furrowed her eyebrows in slight confusion. "As opposed to what? The state?"
“I meant physically, love. Would you rather have it in the courtyard or the church itself, or are you okay with having it anywhere as long as there’s a priest?”
"Oh," Kasey laughed a little, her cheeks heating up slightly in embarrassment. "Well… I think having it outside would be really pretty, and we would definitely get some beautiful pictures from it… So maybe we could do that?"
“Definitely,” he promised, “Whatever my beautiful fiancée desires.”
Kasey grinned over at him and quickly swept a kiss onto his cheek. “Perfect. Now we just need food, music, and decorations… And we actually need to find a venue.”
“Let’s start with making a list with what we want,” he suggested, “The very basics. Colour scheme, venue, the kind of food, rough guest list, decorations.”
“We could hire a planner. Then they could handle most of the planning while we just approve everything,” Kasey suggested with a shrug before bringing another spoonful of ice cream it her mouth.
"If you'd like," he murmured, nudging the spoon away from her mouth and redirecting its course to his.
Kasey shot him a playful glare and shoved the spoon into her mouth. “Why don’t you go get your own spoon?”
“Yours suits me just fine,” he teased, offering a wink.
Kasey stuck her tongue out at him before smiling a little. She leaned over and gently pecked his lips before taking another bite of ice cream.
“Oh, no,” he grinned, batting the spoon away from her mouth and leaning in. “Kisses must be three seconds or longer.”
Kasey made a muffled sound around her mouthful of ice cream. She swallowed it and smiled over at him. “Okay, okay,” she sighed playfully before leaning in and pressing her lips to his.
