She snorted, lifting up a cucumber slice in a mock toast. "To caffeine!"

Arwen grabbed a cucumber slice, and echoed Diana. "To caffeine!"

Diana tapped the slices together an popped hers in her mouth.

Arwen ate her slice of cucumber. "So…"

"So?"

(Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I was sorta freaking out….)
"I dunno." She replied with a bland expression.

((oh, are you alright?
Diana chuckled. "Got any family?"

(Not really, not yet. I should be by tomorrow)
"Yeah, my mum… But she can't stand me." Arwen answered. "What about you?"

"Haven't seen my brother in five years after an argument. 'rents passed on a while ago, and-"

Concern passed over Arwen's face. "Are you OK?"

Diana nodded, resuming her fiddling with the ring on the chain. "My wife and daughter. That's why I hit the road."

"Are they…?"

"Dead? Yeah."

"I'm very sorry. I'm sure they were lovely."

Diana laughed softly, and pulled out a folded picture from her pocket, unfolding it and handing it to Arwen. "They were. Elizabeth was my wife, and the little girl is Sofia."

"They're stunning," Arwen whispered, covering her mouth. She looked at Diana. "Sofia, she looks like both of you. And Elizabeth, my god. I wish I knew her. You two… look like you belong together," She confessed. Being the sap she is, she hugged Diana, and almost cried.

"Liz would have loved you." Diana blinked back tears, voice breaking towards the end of her sentence.

Arwen hugged the other even harder, hearing the sadness in her voice.

"I-wow, today's a sad day, huh?" She tried to joke, the tears not listening and falling down her cheeks.

"Mm hmm. That's too bad, I prefer happy days," Arwen stood up and got some tissues. "But sometimes, ya gotta cry."

"I did so much of that that I thought I was out of tears." She wiped at her eyes, blinking rapidly.

"Me too, hun. Me too. Whaddaya wanna do? We can watch a sad movie and cry some more, we can go to a movie, there's a good one playing at the local theatre. I really like movies." She laughed. "Do you have any suggestions?"

"Anything works for me, but if you got popcorn here, we could stay in. Cheaper that way, too."

"I have popcorn," She said, going through the pantry. "What movie?"

"Fifty First Dates!" She said excitedly, eyes still puffy, but the tears had stopped.

"Okay!" She exclaimed, equally as excited.

"You got it on dvd? Or is it on Netflix now?"

"DVD!" She became confused. "What's a netflix? Sorry, I should prolly know this…"

Diana laughed lightly. "It's this thing on t.v's, you can get it on phones and laptops too, but it has a bunch of shows and movies. It's like nine dollars for an account, each month though."

"Oh. But why do that when you can buy a DVD with 4 movies for 10 dollars?" Now Arwen was incredibly puzzled
