(In my opinion, Australia's better anyway. We're the country of everything except volcanoes, we have a bunch of animals starting with the sound 'k', we have weird hats, beaches, deserts and a few weeks ago our biggest problem was that someone cheated in cricket. I think we're pretty well off.)

(You never see them unless you live in the bush. It’s actually not that common to be bitten or even see one of them if you’re not in the bush or desert.)

(That's good to know. All I can think of though is this guy in my anatomy class, who is originally from Australia, showing us pictures of huntsman spiders, which are the worst.)

(Gross. Those are sort of like black widows, right? I've seen black widows around here at least, but I also run away if I see the smallest and most harmless of spiders, so I'm not a very good judge of how dangerous or terrifying something actually is.)

Lewis heard someone only a few paces behind him as he ran. He was pretty sure he wasn't going to outlast the Ares kid on his tail. He drew out his sword mid-stride and suddenly halted and turned around with a pivot on his right foot. The person pursuing him was unable to stop so quickly and skidded past him. Lewis turned again and knocked the other person aside, using his shield to do so. He took off running again, pretty certain that no one else was in pursuit.
