(And now to make things a little awkward………..)Marfor turned around. He laughed wickedly when he saw Jay. "Come to save your little girlfriend? That's cute."
(hoo boi) Jay walked through the sickly green ferns, scowling. He quickly turned his expression to a suave smirk. "No, I'm here to make you an offer."
Marfor pushed the dagger against Addison's neck, drawing blood. "Step closer and she dies."
(“mY CHILD.”)
(Lol)
"Wasn't planning on going anywhere." Jay's smirk faltered a little at the sight of Addison being hurt, but he managed to keep his façade up. "Like I said, I'm here to make you an offer."
Addison gave Jay a slight shake of her head. Jay he'll kill you without hesitating! Marfor nodded. "I'm listening earthling."
I've got this Jay transmitted. "I want the girl. Name your price and I'll pay it," he said to Marfor
Marfor stepped away from Addison. "This girl is very valuable. Even more so if I deliver her dead body to the king and queen. What makes you think that you can give me something more valuable than them?"
(“Freedom”)
"Oh I can think of a few things." A gleam appeared in Jay's eyes, and a Cyprus-like smile crossed his face. He snapped his fingers and a wall of blue-purple flames appeared around Marfor, trapping him and separating him from Addison. He took a step towards Marfor. "Your life is one of them."
(Oof, nvm.)
Marfor looked extremely bored. "You think that a wimpy wall of fire can stop me?" He asked. Addison grabbed a sharp pebble that had been behind her and tried to cut the rope subtly.
"Oh, it'll do more than distract you. You've never tangled with a pact before have you?" Jay asked. His grin was becoming creepier by the second, and a drop of oil began to leak from the corner of his eye
Marfor rolled his eyes. "Kid, you'd be surprised at what I've seen. But the princess, however, might feel differently about that."
Jay started to walk in a slow circle around Marfor. "You see, I owned these woods for a long time. Many, many thousands of years. Creatures would bow before me, and if they didn't, well…" Jay looked at the nails of a clawed hand absently. "I slit throats as I pleased."
Addison gave Jay a pleading look. Jay please don't.
I've got this, Jay insisted. "Now, I have a proposition for you. You show us to the satellite, and I don't end your miserable existence. How's that for a good deal?"
Marfor raised hos eyebrows. "You think I would show you the satellite? You're wrong. I have killed every team that has come to get the satellite. Oh………..you didn't tell them princess, did you? You weren't the first ones here." he taunted.
(might have to go in a bit) Jay rolled his eyes. "Who cares? They were incompetent. I, on the other hand…" Jay held a hand out, and a blade slid out from his palm. "I can think of a hundred different ways to make you squeal like the pig you are."
(YES GO MY CHILD)
Marfor sighed. "You can try your best human. You will not beat me."
(Pls attack him.)
(I return) Jay reached through the ring of fire with one hand, grabbing Marfor by the neck. He lifted him off the ground, and a faint hissing sound could be heard as his hand began to heat up. "I was not asking you. I am telling you. You will tell us where the satellite is. You will watch your tongue. And you will leave us when we're done on this miserable mud ball. Do I make myself clear?" Jay hissed
(Hi) Marfor suddenly had an idea. "Okay. I will." He's up to something…. Addison thought.
"And in case you get any bright ideas…" Jay let go of Marfor's neck, and a ring burned itself into his neck. It turned gold and stung, and small runes were carved along its length. "Enjoy trying anything with that on."
Marfor growled. Addison bit her lip. Okay, remember not to get on Jay's bad side.
Slowly, Jay let the ring of fire die around Marfor. There was a gleam in his eye, something deadly, and it was terrifying in its subtlety. He looked to Addison, remembering she was still tied up. He walked to her, cutting the ropes with a sharp claw
Addison pulled herself up, ignoring how she was practically covered in blood. "Thanks." She whispered, avoiding Jay's eyes.
(“YES MY LITTLE BOY IS ALL GROWN UP AND SAVING HIS GIRLFRIEND OH MYYYY GOSHHHH.”)
(lol) Jay gave Addison a concerned look. "You weren't hurt too much, were you?"
