That was the final straw. Rheyna had been playing it safe for too long, and now her rage was taking over. She let out a deep growl as she swung her fist towards the pureblood's face, not even caring if she made a scene.

Luke yelped as her fist made contact with his nose, which instantly started bleeding. He tucked himself close to Shace for protection, knowing the werewolf was likely to snap as soon as his blood hit the earth.

Valerie let her spell book open and float above her hand as she pointed her open palm at the halfblood guard. She was careful in her aim as she shouted, "Imoballis!" casting the spell to immobilize the halfblood.

Rheyna went to move her legs, but found that they seemed to be stuck. She couldn't move anything, not even her eyes. "Let me go!" She tried to yell, but her mouth remained frozen in a snarling position.

(Oh no you're right.)

Valerie let out a sigh and put her spell book away. She walked over to the frozen guard, "I did warn you."

"LET ME GO!" Rheyna attempted to scream, her mind angrily trying to move her limbs. "THIS ISN'T FAIR! FIGHT ME WITHOUT MAGIC YOU COWARD!"

Ivy looked at the frozen guard "you are the coward, looking for fights." She muttered

“What are you going to do with her?” Luke looked at the mage with some confusion, still next to Shace. Blood poured from his nose, which he wiped halfheartedly with his arm.

Valerie shrugged as she laughed, "I don't. I'll release her once you and your friend have gotten safely away."

Luke strayed from Shace’s side, walking up to Rheyna and staring at her. “She’ll just find us again. She knows my whistle.” He used his shirt sleeve to wipe the blood off Rheyna’s fist. “Can we move her out of the public eye? At least where guards aren’t around?” He asked softly.

Valerie nodded and opened her spellbook again. She pointed her finger at the guard and said another spell, "Levitcus." Rheyna's body slowly lifted up off the ground as Valerie directed her.

Rheyna didn't even bother speaking as her body floated into the air, still frozen. Great. I can't move and now I'm flying.

“We don’t have to go anywhere fancy. I don’t really know the ins and outs of this place. Just somewhere safe.” He looked at Valerie, hoping she knew a spot.

Valerie shrugged, "I don't know them either. Unless you're okay with leaving the city then I know a place."

Luke looked at Shace. He wasnt a fan of calling the shots.

Ivy followed them, not knowing what to do.

(well ok just fort taurus is like important to the actual rebellion thing lol)
Shaciel nodded her head vaguely, eyes following Rheyna. She reached out and took Luke's hand again.

(As far as I know they aren’t permanently leaving the fort)

Luke grasped Shace’s hand, still trying to stifle his bloody nose.

Valerie hovered Rheyna in front of her as she walked around the town. She wasn't sure where she was going.

Shace leaned forward silently and pulled Valerie with Rheyna onto a smaller street with her other hand. She took another right and up some stairs, then they were on a small porch like platform with a roof hiding them from sight.
