I smiled faintly, feeling her rhythmic heartbeat against my palm. “Can I say I love you again? Or is it getting old?”
I smiled faintly, feeling her rhythmic heartbeat against my palm. “Can I say I love you again? Or is it getting old?”
"It will never get old," I promised him. "Ever."
“Good. I love you.” I murmured back, enjoying the steady beat of her heart against my hand.
(skip or stay?)
Ugh hard decisions😫))
(mood)
Maybe we should skip? I don’t know where to though))
(more M&M? Or maybe a Matt/Romeo interaction? Joe/Mercutio? Something with Paris? Auditions?)
How about M&M? I know Mercutio is desperate for his phone back still. Sorry for my absence! I have a lot of homework tonight :( ))
(don't worry about it! Ah, good luck with your homework
and sure, M&M sounds good! A few days later?)
(Thanks! A few days later sounds good. Mercutio will be going ballistic without his phone lol)
(yesss
should I start? Or do you want to? Maybe Mercutio approaches her after school when the halls are empty and she's still at her locker because of….. idk, more detention?)
(Could you start and set the scene? And that sounds good! They can’t stay out of trouble XD)
(XD yeah)
Marina's POV:
A growl of frustration parted my lips as I yanked on my lock. But the stupid thing had jammed, gotten stuck, refusing to open.
Mercutio’s POV
I trudged towards room 108. A dusty old science room used for detention. Which I had gotten for cursing too loud about my PHONE to Romeo in the hallway. It’s been days! Literal days. I don’t know how to get it back, but I need it.
And then I spotted her in the hallway…
”CAPULET!” I bellowed, eyes blazing with fury as I stormed towards her.
The moment I heard a familiar voice yelling my name, I raised my eyes to the ceiling, annoyance contorting my features further. I didn’t turn or acknowledge the person behind me at all, only pretended that they weren’t there and continued to grapple with my locker.
“I need my phone back.” I demanded, poorly concealing the desperation in my voice. Seeing she was ignoring me, I placed my hand on her shoulder, probably too gently to incite any fear.
I lifted my hand and slowly shoved his off my shoulder, still not condescending so much as to turn and give him attention. “What’s the magic word?~”
I gritted my teeth in frustration. Marina was loving this. Forcing me to beg. I fell silent, glaring at her and seething with rage.
I finally forced my locker open, slinging my backpack onto my shoulder, shutting the door once more, and turning to walk towards the doors.
I grabbed onto her backpack strap. “Give me my phone back before I beat you black and blue, Capulet.” I hissed, fury making my blood boil.
“If you beat me black and blue, you won’t find out where I hid your phone,” I pointed out calmly, pulling myself from his hold and continuing on my way.
“Fine! You win. Please! Please give me my phone back.” I dashed in front of her, frantically trying to bar her from leaving.
“Nope,” I said happily, ducking under one of his arms. “This is fun.”
“I’ll do whatever you want, okay? I need my phone back. I’ll never bother you again!” I raced in front of her again, walking backwards to keep pace with her.
I just shrugged loosely, barely suppressing my glee. “Maybe~”
“Maybe? God, what do you want from me?! I know you’re thinking of something, already. Just— don’t even ask. The answer is yes. Phone back. I need my phone back.” I rambled, growing more and more nervous as we drew closer to the doors.
I raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at my lips. “The answer is yes? Well, in that case, I guess you have to feed me information from Rafael until I’m happy enough to give your phone back.”
My eyes widened in shock. “You’re going to get us both killed.” I couldn’t even begin to wrap my head around this. “Rafael doesn’t even talk to me unless he’s handing me a mission.” I protested, chewing my lip.
“Well, then, get our stupid friend to help you.” I shrugged loosely. “I don’t care how you get it, just give it to me with proof that it’s acurate and not a forgery.”
