she rolled her eyes and went to him putting a hand on his cheek "are you okay not mad okay emotionally okay" she asked.

He nodded and leaned into her touch "yeah, I'm fine..just need to breath a little. Hey Luke." He greeted

She smiled gently at him.

"Hi Brink," Luke greeted "How's mayham in gotham going?'
"Good," he nodded and smiled

Vanessa layed her head on her boyfriends chest.

"I have no idea, alright."

She pressed her lips together and looked down. Damn you, Kate… too pushy. "Sorry."

"Its alright… I'm sorry." He replied and sighed.

He wrapped his arms around her and glanced down at her wrist "you alright?" He asked, genuine concern was written in his eyes

she nodded the vines were gone there was just a huge bruse now.

"am I allowed to go back and finish the job?" He asked, winking at Luke with a grin

"But I-i wanted to" she pouted playfully.

He rolled his eyes and smiled "you got the kill last time…" He whined
Luke stood a few feet away with a smile, happy that the two were alright

"But brink….he hurt me.

He sighed dramatically "fiiiiine." He hugged her tight and glanced over at luke "don't tell anyone.." he winked and nuzzled into Vanessa's hair

Vanessa sighed in content.

"We'll kill him later. We need to get home before mom finds out what we've done."

she nodded "bye luke".

He saluted "stay crazy, the both of you."
Brink nodded "always and forever, old friend. See you on the flip side."

she rolled her eyes and kissed her friends cheek.

He smiled "thanks Ness, careful though, your boyfriend might kill me next."
Brink shook his head "I would never….maybe."

"yeah For him to kill you'd have to kiss me" she said smiling.

Luke raised his hands "I'd like to keep my head today, thanks." He waved and walked off down the streets "see you guys around!"
Brink smiled and nodded "yeah…"

she rubbed his back "you alright".

He nodded and wrapped his arms around her waist "just tired, that's all."

"Then Lets get you home so you can rest" she said.

He nodded and let her pull him towards their home

She made it to his home and layed him on his bed.

He curled up in the blankets and sighed in content "stay?"

she sat on the edge of the bed.

He smiled and ran a hand through her hair
