I’m back! Sorry I left so abruptly, I had a piano exam)
Scarlet smiled bashfully at this. “That makes sense to me.” She glances down at the pendant. “It’s— it’s from the old gardener at the palace, he and I…..” She gulped. “We were courting before the Queen killed him.”
(Btw, I was thinking that in Wonderland it was custom for girls to marry as young as fifteen)
"Ah." Cade studied the pendant before looking suddenly up at her face. I want to see what it is just…move it up some so I'm not… He sighed. "Did you like him?"
(Then Willow should've been wed before Abasi died)
(Chelsea will be alone for… omg. Nvm I have a brilliant idea that isn’t brilliant.)
(laughs) Like Willow could ever find love.
(Oh wait…I frickin' forgot about that guy….)
(Not for everybody, it’s jsut not unusual. Like, people still marry at age 25 and whatnot, it’s just not strange for a fifteen year old to be married)
"Ah." Cade studied the pendant before looking suddenly up at her face. I want to see what it is just…move it up some so I'm not… He sighed. "Did you like him?"
She tilted the tiny golden nightingale so he could see it better, eyes glazed and distant. “Yeah. Colin—that was his name— and I…. we’d known each other for a while.”
Willow finished her shower and walked through the space pocket to get to her room. She put on a nice green dress, embroidered with flowers and picked up one of the flower crowns that Abasi made. He had a special way with them, coaxing even the most stubborn of buds to open up and bloom.
(he could already see the pendant, she was just holding it a little south…..this is kind of awkward to explain)
"The princess was best friends with the gardener boy and you fell in love?" Cade guessed, assuming it was the same as the plot line of the books he read to his sisters.

This is a PG rp, Cade. Or should I say, Cade da Barrel.
(I’m a young innocent sprout.)
Willow held her head up high and walked downstairs, towards her garden, but then decided to change again. She came out wearing cargo pants and a white crop top, a much more acceptable outfit for gardening.
“I’m not that cliche!” She tried for a smile. “He was a refugee from the North, with a false identity as an aristocrat. My mother thought he would be a suitable husband, so she tried to get me to court him. Of course, that would’ve exposed his identity, so he ran, but then snuck back in as a gardener. There were about a hundred of them, so he figured he wouldn’t get caught. And for a while, it worked.”
Cade nodded along with her story. "Smart guy."
The air was inviting and fresh on Willow's tear-stricken face as she stepped out of her cottage with her watering can. Biting back another barrage of tears because Nutmeg, her gardening partner was gone, Willow grabbed another seed packet, Nutmeg's favorite flower and again, avoided the urge to cry.
“He was….” She smiled sadly, his dark eyes haunting her every thought. “I have all the flowers pressed in a book.”, she whispered, more to herself than to Cade.
God, my life is so boring. He would never admit it, but he'd never been in a relationship, much less fall in love. Cade nodded once more. "All of them?"
There were people in her garden. Willow tried not to scream at them. She sat down on the other side of her garden quietly and started turning over the soil in preparation for Nutmeg's favorite flower.
“Almost. It’s weird, I know.” She looked away. “He died about a year ago.”
He nodded solemnly. "Sorry for your loss."
She cleared her throat. “Thank you. It’s hard to like someone after that.”
They were still talking and disrupting her peace of mind. Willow wanted to scream and yell and shake her fist, but things were different now. And her garden was a safe place for all of them. No one was allowed to yell or be mean here. It was a place for happiness. And solitude, but that's not happening. Willow snorted and tied a bandanna around her hair, keeping it from going into her face.
Cade nodded as if he understood.
She kept her eyes on the ground. “Anyways, I think we might be disturbing Willow.” Her voice was hoarse.
"Maybe I should go back inside." He didn't wait for her response, already heading for the door.
Willow jumped, "Nope! I love hearing about ninny problems! Please, I'm fascinated." she attempted a smile.
Scarlet shook her head. “It’s not a problem, Willow.” She slipped inside.
