I think it's because some people believe that God comes before all.
For example, they believe that being a "Christian swimmer" is more correct than being a "swimmer who is also Christian." Their religion is important to them, so the would rather be identified by that first. Similar to someone who would rather be a "artist who is transgender" than a "transgender artist"
Correct me if I'm wrong
There are gay Christians out there. That doesn't make them bad Christians.
Okay, please don't hate, but I disagree: there are no "Gay Christians." There are Christians who are gay. (I believe God comes first befoe all)
I'm not trying to argue, I'm just genuinely confused—what's the difference between the first and the second?
There is no difference!
Yeah, you don't need to change the order of the words……I call myself a bi-ace Catholic because it's easier than going 'I am a Catholic who is asexual and biromantic'.
I'm sorry if I started this…
Oh whoops you beat me to it

That makes sense. Sorry about that.

Okay you guys have probably read this already but I really recommend reading The Art Of Being Normal because it's SOOOO GOOD
Let's Talk About Love is AMAZING and everyone should read it!
Let's Talk About Love is AMAZING and everyone should read it!
Is that a romance novel?
Yes, it's a YA contemporary romance novel about a bi-ace girl!!
I started What If It's Us this weekend and I love it so much
I'm Christian and still gay. I hate how people say "You can't be gay and Christian at the same time!" That's just stupid and ridiculous.

I'm Christian and genderfluid. My dad would have a fit if he found out though.
I'm questioning both my Christianity and my sexuality rn
the latter is just confusing as hell

Im genderfluid as well, i'm just not out as one right now since im trying to find the right moment to come out, that is unless my hardcore Christian "Gays will go to hell" grandmother finds out im gay before then

Idk what book Moxie's referring to but I'm assuming it's either Let's Talk About Love (WHICH IS SO INSANELY GOOD I CAN'T EVEN AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!) or The Birds, The Bees, You, And Me (which I haven't read but it has a bi-ace side character)
Gotta love the rep in books nowadays tbh
If anyone's looking for some Good Gay Books, subscribe to Problems of a Book Nerd on YouTube, she always does a 'Top Queer Releases' video each year and reads mostly diverse books, plus she's just AMAZING in general!
Also there's so many queer books coming out (pun fully intended because when have I ever passed up an opertunity to make a pun) this year that her video only covers up until May/June! THAT'S HOW MANY THERE ARE! WE ARE LIVING THE BEST TIMELINE BOOK-WISE!
No its actually What If It's Us
Sooooooooooo good. It's by the lady that wrote Simon vs the Homosapiens Agenda and the guy that wrote They Both Die at the End (which I have not read)
This book is so good, I can't put it down
