They made it outside, just as Nicky blasted Aaron in the face with a water gun. "Hey! You guys alright? Thought you got lost!"

"No," Laura said back through giggles.

"Bucket of water are right over there, so are the guns. Mitch thinks he's above playing, so teams?"

"Girls against boys?" Laura suggested with a smile.

(Oooooh can Nicky corner her, kiss her, then shoot her?)

Laura grabbed a gun and filled it with water.

Nicky sprayed Aaron one more time before high fiving Rico, as the three made their way to the other side of the yard, plotting.

Laura turned to Renee and Lilly. "What do you think we should do?"

"Aaron isn't hard to hit, and he's stupid, too. Rico isn't actually too good at this either." Renee ticked off on her hand. "But Nicky, I'm not sure how, is incredible at it. Watch out for him."

Laura nodded, listening to what Renee was saying.

"Me?" Laura asked, arching her eyebrows. "Uh… Okay."

"He's hella whipped." Renee explained, and Lilly nodded. "He might hesitate or something."

She blushed furiously. "O-Okay…"

Renee clapped her on the shoulder and gave her a joking wink. "Go, use those feminine wiles."

She nodded shyly. "I-I'll try…"

That made her snort. "I was kidding. Just do what you would normally do, whatever it is that gets him all blushy and shit."

She bit her lip and nodded again. "Okay."

There was the sudden loud sound of an air horn, and Renee rolled her eyes. "Of course he brought that. Well, it's go time."

Laura jumped. "We're going now?"

"Looks like it!"

Laura held up her gun and quickly ducked into a niche nearby.

Nicky crept through the bushes in the yard, water gun in had.

Laura spotted him and aimed at his chest. God, his abs… NO! Focus!

He spotted her at the same time, smiling brightly as he lifted his gun to the side in a show of surrender. "Pause for a sec?"

She hesitated and lowered her gun a little. "Why?"

"So I can tell you how good you look in that bathing suit!" He took a few steps forward, so that he was looking down at her. "Simply ravishing."

She blushed and kept her finger on the trigger. "That's not going to work…"

"Work? What isn't?"

"Trying to flirt with me," she said quietly.
