Can i just rant for a second? Half of it is a happy rant and the other half is not.

Of course spearmint.

So… My church is part of the Methodist church. Yesterday, a council of aorts and the council came to the conclusion that people of LGBT+ people cod not marry and become pastors. However, here comes the happy part, one of the youth directors… I came out to him and asked him to use they them pronouns for me, he said he would. He also told me that the other director was gay and he told me to try and not be anxious about talking to him… So I'm going to tell the other one probably next week.

Well it sucks that LGBTQ+ people can't marry or become Pastors in your church oh, but it is awesome that he agreed to use your pronouns and everything, and that you have a member of the LGBTQ+ running your youth group.

A few people were talking about that in the Christian chat, someone had some positive messages and advice for LGBT+ Methodists so I'll link the conversation here.

NOTE: I'm not Methodist or part of the LGBT thing, so I don't really know anything about this.

I'm a part of the Methodist church as well, and Ella is right. I spoke about it in the Christian chat. The Methodist church might end up splitting like the Baptist church did a while ago.
