Raelyn sighed, growing out a bit of her hair. "Rapunzel?" She said, essentially a question.

Ricarda nodded in recognition. "But what does she have to do with emotions?"
(Ive never actually seen that movie thanks to my mom…)

"She was locked in a tower for 18 years before my father found her. Mother Gothel kept her for herself because my mother had the power to keep her young. She was closed off from the world and made to think that the outside world was dangerous, and that they wanted her hair."

"Not as bad as isolating yourself cause you're afraid of something you physically can't get rid of"

"I think it is. She was held captive for 18 years with no knowledge of anything other than her name. At least your mother knew who she was."

"True, but your mom never forced her emotions into a bottle for fear of hurting others. Your mom never lived in total fear of herself"

"Are you sure? You don't know my mother's story completely. Only she does."

"Who am I to truly say anything about either of our parents…" said Ricarda. "All I know is that my powers are harder to control when Im upset…"

"And all I know is that I still don't have mine. But I know how to use it and I know how to control it."

Ricarda went silent at that, sitting down on the ice.

"Do you really think that this is what people want? People will remember you because of these things."

"You have no idea how hard I try to control it. Yoy dont know how hard it is. And I dont need you to rub it in!"

"I'm not trying to rub it in, Ricarda. I'm just telling you stuff."

"Well its not helping" huffed Ricarda.

"Well, maybe you need to work on your own techniques."

Ricarda closed his eyes, feeling another onrush of power buildup as his frustration grew. "You aren't helping…." he said quietly.

"Then don't listen to me. Listen to yourself."

Ricarda sighed, sitting down in the middle of his ice field, and forcing it to vanish.

Camila suddenly burst out into the courtyard.

Ricarda froze when she came out, and was half tempted to run, but didn't wanna seem like a coward.

Raelyn turned to her. "APOLOGISE!"

Ricarda blinked.. Well that was unexpected…

"Why should I?!" Camila yelled.
"You made him do this!"
"All I did was cut one of his snowballs in half!"

Ricarda sighed, "You also more or less made fun of my powers." he said calmly, "But honestly I don't care, and to quote my mom, just Let it go…."

"No! We don't sing! We left that behind us!" Camila hissed.

"Did you hear me sing?" Asked Ricarda.

"She sang it, and that counts just as much!"

"I can sing it too if you want" said Ricarda with a smirk.

"NO!" Camila screamed. "Don't do that!"

Ricarda laughed, "don't worry, i hate it as much as you do"
