He watched the ground as they walked "Im sorry if It was too soon, or if you weren't ready for it, it was never my intention to force anything upon you." He said with honesty

She shook her head, "No, it was fine, I promise," She said, looking up at him, "It was fine Jassie."

he sighed a laugh, hereing her adress him like so many friends had sent a wash of warmth through him. they got to another intersection and he flipped the coin. "right," he said with a smile "I think we're ging in circles…"

"Nah, we'll get a left eventually," She smiled at the ground and continued walking, humming softly to herself.

He rubbed his thumb over her intertwined hand "what song?" He asked gently as they continued to walk

"What if we rewrite the stars," she sang softly, a smile on her face, "I can't remember the name of the song, stupid brain."

He glanced at her with soft eyes and smiled "not stupid, just full of creativity," he said "Greatest showman right? I love this songs."

Scarlett nodded, "The greatest showman is a great show." She bumped him with her shoulder and grinned, "I can't say I agree about how creative my brain is.."

He nodded in agreement with her first statement "It's Hughe Jackman, how can one not like it," He side glanced at her and shrugged "there's so much creativity that there's not enough room for thinking straight." he said

"I wish," She said, looking up at him as they neared the next inner section, "What direction do we go now?"

He flipped the coin and caught it "right," he said glancing down at her with a smile "I'll race you to the next intersection

"You're on," She grinned and let go of his hand, getting into a running stance, "Ready? Set?" She shook out her arms and yelled, "Go!" running down the sidewalk.

He stopped and watched her "Did I forget to mention which intersection?" he started to walk backward to the intersection they were at before

She turned back and saw he was walking away, "Jerk," She mumbled with a grin, spinning around and starting to run up the other way towards him.

He glanced back "oh darn," he broke into a run with a grin, heading for the intersection with a wild laugh

"You're not going to win this Jassie." She called, running faster with a grin. She heard him laugh and she chuckled.

"Bet!" he yelled back slowly gaining speed. He glanced back at her fire, beautiful, wild, free, fire. he thought with adoration

She started breathing harder and saw the innersection coming into sight. She grinned and just held her speed, knowing she would run out of energy if she didn't.

Jasper reached the intersection first and stopped a few yards away. He turned and waited for Scarlet, leaning against a stop sign and crossing his arms over his chest, breathing hard from the run

"I would've won," She panted, slowing down to a stop in front of him, "If you had told me which way we were racing." She put her hands on her knees and tried to slow her breathing down, the grin still on her face.

He grinned down at her, "you're the one who ran without waiting to see which way we were going," He pulled out the coin "so from which intersection are we turning from, this one or that one?" he said pointing down the street to the other intersection

"This one, I don't want to walk back there." She said, standing up straight again and stretching out her legs, "That was a great workout."

He nodded and intertwined her hand his his again, "will you be alright or do you want to rest a bit?" He asked with a small laugh, "I don't think that was a good idea, considering we just downed a gallon of milk."

Scarlett smiled "I'll be fine, the gallon of milk before this probably wasn't though." She looked up at him and then at the intersection, humming slightly, "Right? Or left?"

He flipped the coin "left" he said glancing down at her

"Sounds good." She started walking, pulling him along with a smile, "That's four coin flips right?"

He shrugged "whose job was it to keep track," he asked, giving a look, "I think that was more like 6."

Scarlett nodded, "We'll go with six," she smiled and looked around as they walked.

He smiled "so Scarlet, tell me more about yourself, of course I know a little bit about your family bit what about hobbies? Favorite things, things you hate, you know that sort of nature."

"Well, my favorite hobbies are singing and acting, and experimenting with different outfits and makeup looks." She shrugged, "But I only mess with makeup in my free time." She said, thinking, "Ironically, my favorite color is red, I like the being in the sun, and you already know that I love spicy food or anything sweet." Scarlett smiled, "Things I hate…hm…I don't like being alone..and I hate the dark, I know it's childish but don't yell at me."
