He smiled softly in his sleep, curling into Caleb a little more.

He blushed lightly. He was such a cutie.

His fingers lightly held onto his shirt, almost as if he was afraid the other would leave.

Caleb slowly let himself drift off

Kyle slept peacefully the entire evening.

Like every night, he woke up abruptly at 12:28. He sighed, he honestly didn’t know why he was still surprised, he’d been dealing with this for close to 4 years now. ‘Don’t you mean we’ve been dealing with this?’ Came a voice from the back of his mind.
‘Whatever you want to call it.’ He mentally replied ‘the universe obviously just wants us to remember’
‘Fucking universe’

When Caleb woke up, he shifted Kyle slightly who in return, whined a little and nuzzled into him.

Caleb froze for a moment, hoping he hadn’t woken him.

Luckily, he hadn't. Kyle was still fast asleep.

He breathed out a quiet sigh of relief.

Kyle sighed in his sleep.

Caleb looked down at him with a small smile. He wasn’t going to let anyone take Kyle away from him. Even if it killed him, Caleb would do anything to keep him safe.

Kyle brought his legs up to his chest, well, tried too at least and nuzzled into Caleb for warmth.

‘Who would ever want to hurt this adorable man.’ He thought to himself.

Kyle wrapped an arm around Caleb’s middle, smiling a little.

Caleb sighed lightly, at least they were safe for now. He slowly began to drift off.

In the morning, Kyle blearily blinked his eyes open before whining and shutting them again. He didn't want to wake up yet.

Caleb yawned, the sudden sound waking him. “Babe, you awake?”

Kyle shook his head a little, “Nope…”

He chuckled. “Didn’t think so”

Kyle snuggled into his jumper and then into Caleb in an attempt to go back to sleep again.

Caleb smiled, letting him do so.

After a couple minutes, Kyle gave up and stretched out across Caleb, “Fine… I’m awake now.”

“Well then, good morning” He smiled

Kyle smiled up at him, “Good morning.”

He leaned down, kissing him lightly.

Kyle kissed him back, humming happily.

Caleb smiled

“Babbbe, can you get my glasses for me, pleeease?” He smiled sweetly.
