Rykah melted into him, pressing into the touch. he was still shaking as he tried to breath, but Will was there, and that was what he needed.
Will was glad that Rykah moved closer to him, and tried to make sure that he was still breathing as well as possible. He sighed sadly, before remembering that in a lot of cases, if someone the patient trusted breathed somewhat exaggeratedly but also in a normal, calm fashion, the patient would mimic them to the best of their ability.
Rykah tried to press up against Will, but every movement was painful. Trying to stay calm he focused on breathing, focused on Will.
Will took several deep breaths, and surprisingly enough, he realized that his breathing has quickened as well when Rykah has started hurting again.
Rykah managed to match him, settling a little, but still crying and whimpering.
Will looked st Rykah sadly, but kept on keeping his breathing slow and even.
Rykah stayed that way for a while, before the pain started to die.
“Is it getting any better?” Will asked, praying the answer would be yes.
Rykah nodded slowly, completely drained.
“Good… you want to try and sleep?”
Rykah nodded, trying to scoot up against Will for comfort.
Will pulled him closer, sighing sadly.
Rykah melted, still quivering,
“It’s ok. Just go to sleep.”
Rykah shivered, eventually dozing off.
Will sighed again. I wish I could make everything better.
Rykah slept soundly this time, though he looked pale, and exhausted.
(Timeskip to when he wakes up?)
(Yeah, btw it your turn.)
(I know)
Will got out of bed after a while, continuing his potion.
It was about an hour and a half later when Rykah finally stirred, he immediately knew that Will had moved, but he was sure that Will was in the room.
“You awake?” Will asked.
Rykah opened his eyes, not really up to moving. "mmhmm…."
“You ok?”
"mmhmm…." his voice was calm, but quiet. He didn't wan't to move, and his leg and wing were still sore, he really didn't wanna trigger another attack of agony by moving either.
“Good.” Will replied, stirring the potion quickly.
"What are you doing?" asked Rykah, his voice low, and all in a blur.
“Working on the potion.” Will replied.
Rykah nodded, curling his right wing further around himself.
(Remember to respond on Saving Kingdoms)
Will stopped his stirrer on the desk, before sitting back down on his bed.
