“You can get a better show as soon as we have the time, Aedion,” Blaine promised, still laughing quietly to herself. “A much better show.”
“You can get a better show as soon as we have the time, Aedion,” Blaine promised, still laughing quietly to herself. “A much better show.”
"Yeah I better," He mumbled, finally placing her down, "I'm going to hold you to that now."
Blaine quirked an eyebrow, smirking up at him. “Do you doubt that you would? Because you know I would love to give it. Just as soon as we have some free time.”
He rolled his eyes, taking her hand again, "I know I know, come on, this place has some good clothes." Andion gestured to a building on a corner not too far away, leading her over and opening the door for her.
“Perfect. Let’s get ready for the party,” Blaine hummed as she followed him inside, glancing around the shop.
The place was filled with different styles of dresses and gowns on one side, the other filled with suits. They were all different sizes. Different colours and styles. Masks and jewellery hung on the walls and in glass cabinets, glittering in the sunlight that filtered through windows.
Blaine’s eyes sparkled as she looked around the store. There were so many choices, so many different combinations they could make.
“Do you want to start looking at suits while I look for a dress?” she asked, turning back to Andion.
Andion shrugged, “Sure. But what colour palette are we looking at first, though? So I have a general idea.”
Right, colors… She needed to pick one for their outfits.
“Maroon? If not that, then maybe just red,” she suggested with a shrug.
He nodded, "Okay, gotcha." He gave her a kiss on the cheek before slipping off to the other side of the store, planning on getting this done as quick as possible.
Blaine smiled as she watched him walk away, then headed toward the dresses. She hoped he could find something nice, otherwise she might have to look for his outfit as well as her own.
A few minutes later, a young woman with strikingly white hair and a soft smile walked over to Blaine, "Hello there! Welcome to Marie's boutique. I'm Leah. Do you need any help picking out dresses?"
Blaine glanced up at the woman from the rack of dresses she was looking at. She gave her a polite smile, then nodded.
“Actually, that would be nice, yes. I’m looking for something in maroon. Something nice, for a ball,” she explained.
Leah nodded, “Ah, great choice, great colour. Not many people like it but it will look very pretty with your skin tone.” She led Blaine over to another part of the shop, a multitude of dresses in maroon, navy and a deep purple. Leah went over to the maroon, rifling through the dresses, “If you see anything that catches your eye just let me know.”
“Thank you,” Blaine murmured as she began to go through the dresses.
She didn’t quite know what she was looking for, but she knew she would find something. She always found something that caught her eye when she was on a mission.
“Oh, I love this one,” she said eventually, pulling a dress out.

Leah looked over and grinned, "Wonderful choice! It'll look so beautiful on you, would you like to try it on?"
(I found this, thought I'd place this here before I lose it and forget about it lol - https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/797840890216503531/)
“Yes, please,” Blaine said with a polite smile. “My boyfriend is also looking for something somewhere around here.”
She nodded, "Once I've finished with you I'm sure I can go help him if my colleagues haven't already. This way." She led Blaine over to a small changing room, "Let me know if you need any help."
“Thank you,” Blaine said with a small nod as she stepped into the changing room. “I appreciate the help.”
“Anytime.” Leah left her to it, heading over to the other side of the store to see if she could find Andion.
Blaine closed herself in the changing room, then looked at the dress. She wondered if she should wait for Andion to try it on, or if she should just do it now. He might want to see it before they bought it, and she wouldn’t mind the second opinion…
A minute or so later, Andion was standing by the changing room, dressed in his suit and looking at himself in the near by mirror. He'd never been good with picking outfits and wanted tog et Blaine's opinion, "Blaine? I need your expert opinion."
Blaine’s eyes shot toward the door when she heard Andion’s voice. She smiled, glancing down at the dress she had just pulled on a moment ago.
“Well, is like your opinion as well, so that works out,” she chuckled, stepping out of the changing room. Her gaze landed on Andion, and she grinned. “That’s perfect. Good choice, Andion. Now… How’s mine?”
Andion went wide eyed, grinning at Blaine as he looked at her from head to toe, “You look beautiful.”
A slight hint of red dusted Blaine’s cheeks at the way he looked at her. He looked impressed with her choice of dress… It felt really good to be looked at like that.
“Thank you. You don’t look too bad yourself,” she murmured, stepping closer to him and lightly patting his chest. “I’m guessing the dress is approved?”
Andion nodded. Why wouldn’t it be approved? She looked drop dead gorgeous in the colour and the dress complimented her figure well in his opinion, “Of course it is. And so is the suit?”
“Very much so,” Blaine assured him, stretching up onto her tiptoes to peck him on the lips. “Shall we change back into our own clothes and go, then?”
Andion nodded, leaning down to peck her back, “Sounds like a good plan, dear,” He gave her a wink, heading over to his own changing room.
Blaine chuckled softly. She hummed, watching him walk away before stepping back into the changing room. It didn’t take long for her to get out of the dress and into her other clothes, and then she pulled the dress out of the room and lanced around for Andion.
Andion was just leaving the change room as Blaine was, smoothing down his clothes and the new suit. He looked around, smiling at Blaine once he saw her and headed over.
