“He doesn’t need to be a jerk.” Will said, delivering a pointed glare to Jack.

"Will" Rykah gave him a look. "It's fine. He didn't know. And I'm used to it." he said it quietly, sighing.

Jack looked somewhat ashamed of himself, and Will shook his head, clearing his thoughts. “You ready for lunch, Ry?” He asked, as Jack left.

"Yeah" said Rykah, getting to his feet on his own this time.

Will lead Rykah down the stairs, finding everyone already at the dining table. “What’re we having?”

Rykah followed him, quieter and more, silent then normal.

“Sandwiches.” Jesse answered, setting a plate down.
Will sat down, taking one.

Will noticed, but didn’t say anything about it, instead making conversation with his family.

“So…. you two met how?” Jesse asked Will.
(He didn’t ask that already, right?)

Will smiled. “Long story.” He reached for Rykah’s hand under the table.

“Right.” Jesse smiled. “Anyway….. Wait a minute… shouldn’t y’all be in school?”

Rykah's ears flattened at that… "We did kinda go missing for several weeks….." he said softly….

Jesse raised his eyebrows, and began to ask questions, but Finn put a hand on his shoulder, pulling him back so that his back was against the chair.
“Why aren’t you two in school?” He asked Anna and jack.
“Our brother went missing. You really thought we would go to school?”

Will sighed. “Come on.” He said to Rykah, getting up.

Rykah sighed, pulling himself up, following Will.

Will lead Rykah upstairs, sighing and closing the door behind them.

“It’s alright. Don’t worry about it.”

Will sat down on the edge, watching him sadly.

Rykah curled up, "I want things to go back to the way they were yesterday…."

Will thought for a moment about what that meant, but then he realized. “Which means you want Jesse and Finn gone…”

"That's not what I meant!!" Said Rykah quickly… "I dont mind them… and I know how much they meant to you…." he sighed. "I meant us… mostly me…. Im so messed up right now I cant even think straight…"

“We can work through it, Rykah. You can go back home, if you need to, right?”

"Thats the last place I wanna go right now…" said Rykah sadly.
(I have to go for a few and make me a lunch but then Ill be back.

“Ok, then don’t go home. We’ll stay here. It’ll get better.”
(Sorry, I’m hanging out with my family. I’ll be on and off for a little while)

Will lay down next to him, wishing he could just make everything better. He was thinking about a memory blocker potion, and what ingredients
That would entail.

Rykah scooted up next to him, needing to feel his warmth. Frowning he looked out across the room, but didnt see anything.

Will was muttering to himself without realizing it, wondering about the difficulty level of a memory blocking potion.

"You don't have to try and do that…." said Rykah quietly. . "It might still scare me… but thise memories also give me experience to move on…."
