Fae gave him a light squeeze. “You seem tired, let’s get back to the room so you don’t fall asleep right now.”, she prompted gently.

The sunlight came in through bars of light, struggling through the slide-down plastic shutters. Cruz's breath was peaceful and slow, accented with a small snore in the back of his throat.

Fae's eyes flutteed open, and she sat up in bed with a yawn, rubbing her eyes. She looked to the side, smiling softly at how peaceful, how angelic Cruz looked in his sleep. Her eyes melted a little, filled with affection.
