"Jackson," she repeated softly.

Maria came back after a while and saw him. A smirk crossed her lips. "I'm the tired one?" She casually kicked his chair.

He jerks slightly but doesnt wake.

Clint slides off the chair in surprise, looking around, "Huh?"

She gently kissed him and mumbled tiredly against his lips. "Jackson."

Maria smirked. "You fell asleep."

He opens his eyes and looks at her blearily, "Mmm…"

"Yes. I did. Good observation. "

"It's morning now…"

"Go on. Off to bed," she said smoothly.

"Ya don't say…" he smiles

"Nah."

She smiled in return. "I don't want you to go…"

"Um, yes. Go," she said, sliding into the seat.

He sighs.

Clint snarls, "No."

"Can you take me with you?" she asked.

"Clint, you need sleep as much as the next guy. Maybe even more. Besides, you forced me. Now go."

"Where?"

"No. I'm fine. I'm not like you. I'm fine."

"Anywhere out of this hospital."

She looked down at him with narrowed eyes. "I was fine too."

"Infermary." He corrects with a laugh.

"No. You wherent. You passed out! Literally!"

"Whatever…"

"You did too!"

He shakes his head, standing and stretching.

"I didnt! I found something before I did!"

"Seriously, what's the difference?"

"Yeah? What did you find?" she asked, looking at the screen.

"Nothing." He chuckles, cracking his neck

"A new tesseract." He snaps. (Or something like that XD

"Exactly," she mumbled.

She deadpanned. "What?"

He snorts and looks around, bored, "Now what?"

Clint nods and wheels closer to the screen again, pointing to a file

"I dunno. Who was that prisoner guy my mom brought?"

Maria clicked on it and her eyes widened. "Oh my God…"

"Your dad." He shrugs, "I heard mine and your mom talking about it."

(Wait is that ok?) Clint nods, "Yep.:

Kate stared at him. "What?" she asked faintly.

(Yeah, that's totally fine!) "This means…" She stopped talking to read the plans further.

He freezes, "Shit…"

"What? Another stone?"

"My dad?" Her lips formed the words, but she didn't tell them to.

"Yeah," she breathed.

Jackson flinches for the explosion.

"Ah damnit." He curses

"Where is he?" she asked.

Maria didn't say anything. She was too shocked.

"The brig. And there is no way you are going. Not yet. So bdont even start." He chuckles

Clint looks over at her silently

"Bring him here then," she said firmly.

She shook her head. "How are we supposed to deal with this?"

"Uh. I think you should rest…" he tries to get around it

"Tell some one. Any one. Furry."

"No, bring him here," Kate demanded.

"Would he believe it?"

"You should really rest." He laughs nervously, "Ill go get your mom instead. How about that?"

"Most likely not…"
