It doesn't matter, you can make it as long as you want, Ace is sort of chill about that stuff, it's almost impossible to make him jealous. It's just a part of his personality.

Macha curled against him and Ace shot a glance towards her arm, where the bracelets were. I wonder if I should make one for her. He ran a hand through Macha's hair and tried to imagine it blonde. He couldn't do it. Ace touched her face, feeling her skin. "Is your skin 100% stone, or is there a layer of skin under there?' he asked.

Oh god., Macha thought. How am I going to tell him about Lenn? "Th-The last bracelet was from Lenn, my– my first boyfriend." She winced inwardly, praying that she wouldn't start crying again. "I–I stopped him from committing suicide, and–" His ash and platinum blond hair. Those soft gray eyes. The smooth gray river stone he always wore around his neck. She tried again. "He–" Macha couldn't bring herself to continue. The bracelet. She looked down at the last bracelet, tears welling up in her eyes. It was made out of slim interwoven shades of grey, with small silver rod and ball-shaped beads threaded, in seemingly random places, on it, spelling the words 'I love you' in Morse Code. "He was a figure skater. He died 10 months ago.", was all she said as she sat, swallowed by a memory. Lenn laughing, pulling me through the park, around the barren trees. It's winter, and the snow is plentiful on the ground, my breath fogging in the air.

"I'm so sorry." Ace looked into Macha's eyes. "I bet he was an amazing person." he brushed a tear off her cheek and then kissed it. Ace stopped for a second and almost as an afterthought added, "What does figure skating mean?"

Blake felt his heart plummet as soon as Dani mentioned he could have someone trailing him. Commander wouldn't do that, would he? Maybe… maybe Ben was right. God what if… no! No this couldn't have all been an excuse to kill him off! It was all too elaborate. If they wanted him dead he'd be dead by now. Or not… Blake shook his head furiously as if trying to clear it. "I… I-wait. Please." Blake looked down at his feet and gritted his teeth painfully to hold back tears. What's wrong with me today?!

(@Mistress are you on? If so do you want to do something with Ana and Josh to pass the time whilst everyone else's characters are off doing stuff?)

Zander strolled down the street a comfortable pace and stopped near a ramen shop. Kata (His familiar) had tracked him this far. It wouldn't hurt to stop at a place renown for its ramen. His stomach grumbled, making the choice for him. It was alright he decided, after all there's another target around here anyway.

(I might be gone a for a little while so I'm adding on a bit from earlier!)

Blake heard Dani's footsteps come to a halt. His breathing quickened considerably. Helping them would be treason, but how long would they leave him alone in here? Days? Weeks? If Commander Ryker sent someone to trail him, it wasn't to make sure he was coming home. It would be a hit, probably for treason. He could attempt escape, but he was in an unknown location and would probably be under guard. He scrunched up his nose as he thought, trying to figure out how to make the right decision. Hearing Dani out wouldn't hurt, right? "W-What…" Blake paused, his cheeks heating up due to a loud voice crack. "What would you need help with?" He finished, his voice softening. Blake forced the muscles in his wings to relax and looked fearfully up at Dani, awaiting her response.

Dani turned around. "I need you to trust me. I need you to let us help you." She said softly, trying not to cry, still terrified for her friends, and now being terrified for this stranger, who had been tasked with killing Ace.

Yes. Anyone can join, just fit your character in without overcrowding and ALWAYS follow the rules.
-Your character must be YOURS, not someone else's or from a book/movie/show etc.
-One character per person (you can make up little background characters only there to move the story along, as long as you have ONE main character who's POV you're writing from)
-No hate/racist, sexist, homophobic/transphobic, or generally rude comments (unless coming from a bully/"bad" person)
-If someone makes a mistake, move past it
-Absolutely NO LIMIT on what you do to or with your character, as long as you keep it appropriate (and please try not to swear), and no deciding what happens to other people's characters without their consent

"Help me? Help me how?" Blake bit his lip and tucked his wings close to his body. That's what she wanted wasn't it? She wants to cut them off. He froze, trying to think of another way out of this situation.

Dani sensed his fear. "I'm not going to cut off your wings. I'm going to help you learn how to control them."

Blake looked back up at Dani in confusion, his eyes watering. He gave her a shy nod in reply.

Dani unlocked the cuffs around his hands carefully. "If I take these off you will you cooperate?"

Blake considered escaping, but he felt guilty doing so under Dani's gaze. "I'll cooperate. I promise."

Dani slipped the cuffs off him. Niki got out of her chair and opened the door. Dani gently led Blake out of the door. "Come on." She said gently. "I'll take you somewhere where you will be safe." She and Niki led him down the winding halls.
