Damian watched with a small grin as Tornado curled up next to her, before turning to bring a flask of water into the Healer's den.

“I’ll be back in a little while.” Reed said, standing up and walking away. Unlike Jack, he preferred to be alone if he was panicking.

Damian brought it in, staring a little when he saw Alex in tears, but handed the water off to Glace before turning around and leaving again.

Reed headed out to where Anna and him had been earlier, sitting down and putting his head in his hands.

Luma and Firiko suddenly flew in from patrol, immediately sensing the tension in the air.

“Should we go after him?” Anna asked.
Jack shook his head.

"What happened?" asked Luma,
"Arthur's condition took a bad turn…" said Damian quietly.

Reed was currently trying to control himself, after crying for several minutes by himself.

"Is dad ok?" asked Luma, instantly worried,

Reed came back into the clearing, sitting down next to Anna and Jack.

Firiko noticed, but quickly turned his attention to Alex as he stumbled out of the den,
I'm going on patrol came Alex's voice in Luma's mind, before he warped to the top of Silver rock, transforming so he had golden wings, before flying off.

“You Alright, Reed?” Anna asked. He nodded, taking another deep breath.
(as Hawkeye listens to ‘Devil Went Down to Georgia’ for the ninth time in a row)

(Why??? I also have no Idea what that song is….)
Luma watched as Alex flew off, "He'll be alright" he said to himself.

(* Dramatic Gasp * I don’t think you’re legally allowed to be from the South/Midwest if you haven’t heard that song! I mean, yes, probably they are, but it’s one of the best songs of all time in my opinion. But then again my playlist is a weird combination of old country, songs from three musicals, Panic! At The Disco, and a show I’ve never watched.)
“Thinking about Jesse again?” Jack asked tactlessly.
Reed nodded again.

Luma sighed, before suddenly blanching, falling to one knee, and immediately summoning a shield that pushed everyone away,

(They awkward moment when your brother’s girlfriend breaks up with him, and you have to figure out whether you want to comfort him or hurt her(just for clarification, she was the worst and literally my least favorite person on the planet))
“Is he okay?” Anna asked herself.

Firiko paled when Luma put up his shield.
Luma suddenly launched into the sky, heading after Alex.
"Oh no…" Firiko paled… "He's being controlled!"

Anna raised her eyebrows. “This day keeps getting better and better.” She muttered, standing up.

Arthur was partly conscious when Firiko rushed in, "Silver you have to warn dad!" he said quickly, "Luma's being controlled again and he just went after him!"
Silver blanched, and grasped his amulet, "he's blocking again…" he said quietly, "Firiko you have to try and beat Luma to him."
"No…." Arthur said it, trying to sit up,
"Arthur lie down!!" said Silver trying to push him down,
Arthur swatted his hand away, "I'm… the only….. flyer…. fast enough…. to beat…. Luma……." he said, suddenly getting to his feet. It was clearly taking effort, but he bolted out the entrance, Dragon wings appearing as he launched into the air.

Anna took notice of this, saying, “Well that just adds to the fun new doesn’t it.”

"Arthur!!" Silver rushed to the edge of the slight rise, watching as Arthur flew off at top speed.
"HOW THE H*** IS HE IN THE AIR?!!" Bellowed Glaciero, in shock.
Silver sighed, sitting down and laughing, "That's what they do…" he said.

Arthur flew as fast as he could, Alex!! He mindcalled, Alex please!! Everything hurt, and his vision blurred as he flew. flying faster and faster, finally coming level with Luma, narrowly missing one of his bolts.

“That’s insane.” Reed said.

(Yeah… this was just one spot where "heck" wouldn't cut it.)
Arthur soon passed Luma, wining it as fast as he could to the small dot ahead.

“Yes, it is in fact insane.” Anna replied to Reed.

Luma suddenly shot a beam towards Alex.
I'M NOT GOING TO MAKE IT! Arthur put all his strength into getting in front of that beam. "CHAOS SHIELD!!" A small shield appeared to block the beam, but it was weak, and had already begun to shatter.

“How much you want to bet one of them dies?” Jack said flatly. This caused him to receive slaps on both sides.

Firiko glared at him too, not to mention Damian Glace Silver And Tornado.

“Jeez, tough crowd.” Jack muttered, rolling his eyes.
