Oof, I know what you mean. I have about a billion characters that I LOVE, but no story for them. Then I shove them into a story that really doesn't need more people in it because I NEED to write about them.

Jyynie I absolutely love your Frankenstein reference with the characters lmao.

I have two characters who are sisters who I absolutely adore and really want to write about and I got the motivation to write yesterday for like five minutes and then I lost it.

I made it too page 200 and something and then stopped the entire book to rewrite it in a different POV.

I have three rlly op siblings in one of my projects. They're supposed to be powerful enough to take down the person holding all the worlds magic but none of them have the right powers to do so.

I got to 105 pages and then just…..stopped…in the middle of dialogue. Even my characters were like "wtf?"
I havent been able to properly write since.

Anyone else ever have the cast for a book finished, and then has a whisper in the back of their head be like
"Add a disaster chem student and his sunshine boyfriend, and name them after Frankenstein characters'?
Cuz that happened to me in the middle of the night and now I'm writing about a disaster chemist, his sunshine boyfriend, a wannabe Shakespearean actor, a bitter newscaster, a precious not-disaster chemist, and a disaster lawyer.

Last night I took a character named Selé, that might have had one scene, into a main character that becomes the helper to the protagonist Soáki.

I got to 105 pages and then just…..stopped…in the middle of dialogue. Even my characters were like "wtf?"
I havent been able to properly write since.

I had a weird dream about Frankenstein last night when I was trying to fall asleep for 3 hours and I COULDN'T HECKING FALL ASLEEP! so yeah. It's a thing now.
Also I finally bought myself a copy of Frankenstein!

Why did I not join this chat before???? I honestly am so bad at actually writing the series of books I have which is like 9 arcs of like 10ish books each….. (All full sized novels…) and I have nothing written….. (And I'm not even sure those numbers are right, and if they're wrong it's because they're too low….)

I had one of those dreams again. The one where monsters made of shadow are everywhere. This time there were at least ten, which is unusual. Normally there’s only one or two. What’s even more unusual is the other person present in my dream. I only remember snippets of her. Her raven black hair, rolling like waves in a stormy ocean. Her blue eyes, like the clearest sky in a hundred different shades of blue. I can't remember her face, though, and it drives me insane.
(This is the first paragraph in my story, and I'm wondering if it looks alright)
