Liam continued on with his pizza, feeling surprisingly hungry for once in his life. For one, the food was great here so it seemed to pick up his appetite.

Kasey continued to eat her salad, sneaking glances up at Liam every once in a while. She was curious about what the rest of the night would hold, though she didn’t think asking again would do her any good. She’d just have to wait and see…

Liam didn't take long to finish his food, considering he had been pretty hungry when they had first entered. he wiped his mouth with a napkin, settling back in his chair with a content sigh.

Kasey finished her food a couple of bites after Liam. She set her fork down, pulled her legs up onto the seat, and smiled at him.

“Cheesecake?” she asked with a hopeful-looking smile.

Liam smirked and shook his head, “Desert can wait, I’ve already got that planned. We just have to drive to it.”

Kasey’s eyebrows shot up. He’d planned dessert, too?

“Your smirk concerns me,” she joked softly. “Where are we going?”

"Like I said, I can't tell you. Everything is a surprise tonight." He winked, a sense of playfulness dancing in his eyes.

“Fine, fine,” Kasey laughed. “Can we go, then? I want to know what the surprise is.”

Liam chuckled and nodded, "Yes yes, we can go." He flagged down the waiter, getting her to bring the bill over and paying quickly. He stood, offering his hand to Kasey.

Kasey took Liam’s hand and stood as well. Wherever they were going, whatever they were doing, she was sure it would be good. He seemed to have this planned out pretty well.

Liam led her out the restaurant and to the car. He was bubbling with excitement, grinning from ear to ear as he opened the door for Kasey.

“You seem really excited,” Kasey noticed as she slid into the seat. She smiled up at him, wondering what was so exciting that he was acting this way.

"That might be because I am, beautiful." He shut the door, practically skipping to the other side of the car as he climbed into his seat.

“You’re making it really hard to be patient being this excited,” Kasey laughed softly, watching him get in the car.

Liam strapped himself in and started the car, giggling, “Too bad, deal with it.”

“I don’t really have a choice, do I?” Kasey joked, poking him in the leg.

Liam batted her hand away before turning back to the road, “No you don’t. Not tonight.”

“Then hurry up so we can get there!“ Kasey said as she poked him again, giggling softly.

“Hey! I don’t want to get a speeding ticket!” Liam said, pouting a little.

“Then don’t get one,” Kasey teased with a grin. “But hurry up and get us there so I can know what this secret plan of yours is.”

Liam gasped dramatically, "I can't go faster otherwise we'll get pulled over. And I don't exactly want that to happen now, do I?"

“No, I suppose not,” Kasey murmured, still smiling a little. “How much longer?”

"Just a little bit longer, don't worry that pretty little head of yours." Liam seemed to be having too much fun with this.

“I’m not worried. Just excited,” Kasey said with a smile as she watched Liam driving.

"Good, you should be," He bit his lip, "I hope you like it. Like, I reeally hope you like it."

“Well, now you’re making me nervous,” Kasey half-joked with a soft laugh.

"I'm sorry, that wasn't what I wanted to do… I'm just excited." Liam smiled sheepishly.

“You’re fine, Liam. I was just joking,” Kasey assured him, reaching over to pat his leg. “I’m excited to see what you have for me.”

"Good, yeah that's good, I'm excited too, obviously since I just told you that two seconds ago, yeah…" Liam bit his lip, scratching the back of his neck.

He looked nervous. Why did he seem so nervous? Kasey was sure that she would love whatever he had planned; there was no reason for him to be nervous.

She smiled at him and gave his leg a gentle squeeze. Even if he wouldn’t tell her what he had planned, she was sure it would be good.
