Grayson fell asleep in a matter of minutes, his hand clenched around Abaddon's shirt.

（to when they wake up?)

Grayson shifted around and slipped off of Abaddon's lap, curling his knees up to his chest. He became semi-conscious and reached over to wrap his hand around Abaddon's.

Abaddon was still sleeping, the occasional soft whine escaping him as he curled up around Grayson, clinging to him almost a little too hard

Grayson squirmed a bit, trying to loosen Abaddon’s grip on him. He looked over and pressed a gentle kiss to Abaddon’s lips in an attempt to calm him down.

Abaddon let out a soft whimper in his sleep, grabbing for Grayson again. He seemed to be having a nightmare, and he would occasionally flinch and twitch

Grayson frowned slightly and wrapped his arms around him, running his hand through Abaddon’s hair. He kissed his cheek softly. “Hey..it’s okay baby..I’m here..”

"Hurt…Hurts," Abaddon whimpered in his sleep. "Don't hurt, want to hurt," he mumbled, partially unintelligible

Grayson pulled him closer, trying his best to comfort him. “Abaddon..hey..it’s okay, it’s just a nightmare, it’s not real..”

Abaddon suddenly shot upright, gasping sharply as he grabbed and clawed at himself, shuddering as he stared wide-eyed at seemingly nothing

Grayson jumped back a little before hugging him tight. “Shh..it’s okay..” He murmured, pulling away and cupping Abaddon’s face in his hand, looking at him worriedly.

Abaddon whimpered softly, hiding his face by just pressing against Grayson's chest, his shoulders shuddering with little sobs as he gripped Grayson

“Shh..everything’s okay now. You’re okay, just focus on me..” Grayson said gently, kissing the top of his head.

Abaddon whimpered as he clung to Grayson, squishing his face into the other's chest from how hard he was clinging to him

Grayson stayed silent, not exactly sure what to do with Abaddon besides holding him close against his chest. He occasionally glanced down at him, making sure he was okay.

Abaddon sniffled as he regained his composure, hating that he had broken down like that in front of Grayson of all people

“Are you okay?” Grayson asked in a quiet tone, knowing it must have been bad since Abaddon never broke down like this.

Abaddon didn't respond for a moment, but eventually he nodded. He didn't speak though, just stayed curled against Grayson

“It’s okay..I got you.” Grayson whispered again, leaning back into the couch with Abaddon.

Abaddon just made a little whimper as he curled up in a tighter ball against Grayson, just wanting to be held

Grayson left Abaddon for a second and grabbed a blanket, setting him back in his lap with the blanket wrapped around Abaddon's shoulders, holding him close against his chest.

Abaddon cuddled closer to Grayson, laying on his chest and burying himself in the blanket, a very soft smile appearing on his face now. "Thanks…" he mumbled softly

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Grayson asked again, kissing his forehead gently and snuggling closer.

Abaddon just gave him a small nod. He wasn't totally okay per say, but he was fine enough to be functional again

"Do you need anything?" Grayson asked, trying to make sure Abaddon was completely okay.

Abaddon shook his head, still burying his face in Grayson's chest. "Just you," he mumbled softly

"Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere." He replied, rubbing Abaddon's back gently.

Abaddon nodded, relaxing into the rubbing as he let his eyes fall shut again. He leaned against Grayson's chest, the sound of his heartbeat soothing to him
