Luna twiddled her knife, "A-and more i-importantly, what a-are we d-doing about P-Panther?"

(I decided to name the book, From the Ashes)

Sparrow looked st her friends and gestured to the comm links "I'm assuming that Cyrus still has his. We can give one to Uriah and have him talk to Cyrus. I guess that he thinks the rest of us are dead so you need to act as though we are until it is safe to take him back.

Cyrus stared up at Panther with empty eyes from where he laid.
“Kill me… Let me die…” he whispered.

Panther laughed "if I had wanted to do that. I would have sent you to doe with your friends!" He said gleefully. Panther picked up the fallen boy and dusted his shoulders "bow stop acting so weak, I need to show them that my grandson is the strongest of them all."

“Bitch…” Cyrus spat indignantly, “Why are you saying this stuff now? I thought I was the weak link. Whatever happened to that?”
He pulled himself away from Panther.
“And don’t touch me. You’re disgusting.”
Cyrus’ eyes had been so empty, but now they had a small gleam of something, like glowing embers of anger, trying to light a fire underneath all the damp sadness.

Luna nodded, but frowned slightly. She reached up to take the earring off so she could give hers to Uriah, "I-I agree, b-but he n-needs to kn-know you a-aren't dead a-at the l-least."

"Alright." Uriah took the comm and put it in his ear. "Cy, can you hear me?" It felt like forever since Uriah heard his bestfriends voice. His heart pounded hoping to hear something from him, he wanted him to be safe. Please answer.

Luna sat there in slightly baited breath. She figured if Cyrus didn't respond that maybe Uriah just forgot to tap the ear piece, or they took Cyrus's ear piece, or- Or. No, he's fine. Stop thinking like that Luna.

Panther looked at his fingers and looked up. "Probably because my son is alive and refuses to take over the guild." He said nonchalantly

Luna looked to Uriah. It had been a minute at least at he hadn't spoken again. She was trying to remember the last thing Cyrus said over the comms. Something about being caught right? She was extremely quiet, "D-Did he r-respond?"

Cyrus bared his teeth.
“How many lies are you going to tell me, old man?”

Panther grinned and waved his hand, gesturing out the door "why dont you see. I found them hiding from.me when you were 14."

"No, there's no answer." Uriah was getting seriously worried. "Should we just ho find him ourselves?" It was the best option at this point, if there was no other way. He took the ear piece out and handed back to Luna.

“Because you tried to kill them! I thought they were dead and found evidence it was your doing. And you tried to do the same to us. And now that I’ve proven myself a capable leader, I’ve left you scared and begging for me to join you.” Cyrus growled.
“But I’ll do that when hell freezes over!”
Cyrus leapt at Panther, hands aimed at his neck.

Luna put the ear piece back. She tried to keep her breathing under control, but was failing miserably. What used to be a crouch was just her now on the ground hyperventilating. Cyrus could be dead, her panicking was not helping the situation at all. She couldn't help, no matter what she did her breathing just wouldn't control itself. Her thoughts were spiraling downwards and she couldn't stop them at all. It was exactly like the last time she had been stuck here, but she was free this time and Cyrus was the one stuck.

Uriah wrapped his arm around Luna's shoulder and pulled her close. He had to be strong now, for all of them. Without Cyrus around, he was the guy that had to protect them all. "Don't worry, I'll get him back. Okay?"

Luna froze for a moment when someone touched her. Dios they were going to hurt her. They could hurt Uriah and Sparrow if they had managed to find them. The pain in her chest worsened until she realized it was Uriah holding her. He said something and Luna didn’t want him to think she was completely debilitated, even though she most definitely was, so she mutely nodded along.

He laid his head on hers and looked over to Sparrow. "So, what's the plan leader?" Sparrow and Luna both knew Panther better than him, but with Luna like this she probably wouldn't think straight. Sparrow was the best choice of the three to make a plan. He wanted to do whatever it took for all of them to get home safely. Uriah ran his thumb over Luna's shoulder to try his best to calm her.

Luna felt his touches run through her like lightning. She couldn’t relax, not yet. They could still be in danger right? But dios if her chest would stop hurting and her eyes stop trying to shut then maybe that would help her in the littlest bit. Not to mention her breathing which seemed to calm, but only slightly at Uriah’s touches. Did she want to be touched? Luna wasn’t sure at the moment.

“Because you tried to kill them! I thought they were dead and found evidence it was your doing. And you tried to do the same to us. And now that I’ve proven myself a capable leader, I’ve left you scared and begging for me to join you.” Cyrus growled.
“But I’ll do that when hell freezes over!”
Cyrus leapt at Panther, hands aimed at his neck.

Panther crossed his arms, raising g them around his neck and protected his neck. "Calm down Tiger. How do you know I didnt plant that information on purpose?"

Sparrow looked up helplessly. "I–" she said looking around. "I dont know what to do." She said.

Cyrus was sent reeling a bit from the block, stumbling a bit because of his bad knee. It hurt really badly, but he wasn’t ready to back down.
“You’ve already told me so many lies. I really don’t care if you planted that. All I know is that these things you’ve told me have made my life a living hell, and my friends suffered because of you. For that, I can’t forgive you.”
After a pause, he quickly said, “Besides, if planting this was your elaborate plot, that’s honestly the stupidest plot you could’ve come up with. Why not condition me when I was younger?”
