Gray’s POV:
Laughing, I shook my head and entered the bathroom, closing the door and getting ready for today.
I decided on a simple dark blue button-up shirt with black jeans and shoes. I styled my hair a little before I finally exited the bathroom.
“I’m ready,” I called after Violeta. “Should we leave?”
I zipped up my purse, turning at the sound of his voice. What I saw made my cheeks flush pink and my breath catch in my throat.
“You—You look good. Really good.”
Gray’s POV:
I smirked at her flustered cheeks, feeling proud.
“Why, thank you, sweetheart,” I bowed, holding out my hand for her to take. “Now let us depart, my lady. The evening awaits us.”
I gladly slipped my hand into his, doing my best (and inevitable failing) to keep the stammer from re-entering my voice.
“Thank you—Um. Wow. You—Yeah.”
Gray’s POV:
With a smile, I held her hand in mine tightly, and then we made our way towards our designated place.
It seemed Sterling and Eden were already there, so I raised my hand to wave at them.
Sterling’s POV:
I saw Gray and Violeta coming towards us, and I raised my hand back in greeting.
“You guys ready to eat?” I asked with a smile as they neared. When they had got close enough, I noticed the dark marks on their necks and held back a laugh, coughing behind my hand instead.
Eden’s POV:
I frowned at Sterling’s behavior before following his line of vision. The necks of our friends. Remembering what Violeta did to me when I had those marks, I looked at her and offered her a smile as if to say, ”you’ve been busy.”
“Well, let’s eat, shall we?”
“Yeah,” I agreed, scratching nervously at the nape of my neck.
“How have you two been?”
Sterling’s POV:
“We’ve been good,” I said, smiling over at Eden before I pressed a quick kiss to the side of her head. “You two look happy. What have you been up to?”
Gray’s POV:
I smirked.
“Oh, you know,” I said with a shrug. “The usual.”
I almost choked on my own spit.
“Um—Just—Movies and stuff. Cuddling.” It was a terribly fabricated lie, and I knew it.
Gray’s POV:
“And a little bit of making out,” I added with a smirk. “Like I said. The usual.”
Sterling’s POV:
“I see,” I chuckled, giving Gray a knowing look nodding toward the door. “Our table should be set up already if you guys want to head inside.”
I flushed, giving Sterling a flustered nod. “Sure, yeah.”
Eden’s POV:
We went inside to our table and sat down quietly. Violeta still looked flustered while Gray looked amused. That reminded me of Sterling and I, when he marked me.
“What does everyone want to eat?” I finally asking, pushing one of the menus towards the other two.
I let my eyes trail down the various options, chewing absentmindedly on my lip. “I might take a soup..”
Eden’s POV:
I nodded before looking over at Gray, who was peering over at the menu as well.
“The steak sounds good,” Gray murmured.
I turned towards Sterling.
“I’ll have whatever you get me,” I shrugged. “As long as it’s something I like.”
Sterling’s POV:
I shrugged and glanced over the menu. “I was probably just going to get a steak, too. I’m sure the soups and salads are good, though. You could get one of those.”
Eden’s POV:
“The hot and sour chicken soup sounds good,” I murmured, tucking a lock of hair behind my ears. “And I’ll probably steal a bit of your steak.”
Sterling’s POV:
“Sounds like a plan, then,” I chuckled, nudging her playfully. “Just don’t try to eat all of my steak, and you’ll be fine.”
Eden’s POV:
I met his gaze challengingly.
“What will you do to me if I do?” I raised an eyebrow.
Sterling’s POV:
I smirked and stuck my hands in my pockets casually. “Trust me, babe, that’s not something you want to talk about here,” I teased with a wink.
Eden’s POV:
I punched him on the shoulder, glaring at him, forcing my cheeks to keep their pale color. I turned away from him, crossing my arms.
Guess I’m eating his steak today.
(Lol. Eden… shakes head 😂
Should we wait for Topaz?)
(Eden lmao)
I stifled a chuckle, reaching for Gray’s hand beneath the table. After interlacing our fingers, I leaned against his shoulder, sighing softly. “Are we ready to order, then?”
Sterling’s POV:
I nodded slowly and glanced over at them from smirking at Eden. “I am. Did anyone want any desserts?”
(Skip to the end of the meal?
not it)
