(🤣🤣🤣)
Gray’s POV:
I stood up slowly, looking at Violeta’s blushing face. Although I wanted to tease her, I knew it wasn’t the right time for it.
“In Vy’s defense,” I started, folding my arms across my chest, offering a small shrug. “That’s all we ever did.”
Lillian raised an eyebrow. “Mmhm. Anyways, I just came to grab my charger.” She moved past me and to a box behind her bed, grabbing a black leather jacket off her hook. Ginger hair swishing, she raised a hand. “Bye. Uh… stay off my bed, I guess.” To me, she winked and muttered “Use protection” before slipping out the door.
(🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)
Gray’s POV:
After her roommate left, there was silence in the room. Until I cleared my throat.
“Er, that was awkward,” I repeated my earlier statement, my fingers reaching out to touch the marks Violeta made on me. Not because I was self-conscious, no. Because of the proud feeling that came with it.
I cupped a hand over one of my cheeks, which was burning in embarrassment. “Sorry about her… um…”
Gray’s POV:
I shrugged.
“It’s fine,” I told her honestly. “I’m more concerned about you. Are you okay?”
“My dignity will recover…” I muttered, approaching him again.
(Skip? Not it)
(What if they all plan to meet up? And Steed notices the marks on both of their necks? XD)
(Sterling Totally would. Lol.)
(So I guess it’s A’s turn. XD$
(Kejskdbdbj
Sure.
Where and when?)
(Like… evening, when they’re grabbing dinner outside?)
Yeah sure! Maybe more formal dress?)
(Eden doesn’t really care about dress codes, so she’d just really come in whatever she finds comfortable.)
Lol
Violeta will dress up)
Sterling’s POV:
I walked up to the doors of the restaurant with Eden at my side. Gray and Violeta we’re meeting us here, and I was looking forward to the double-date-like meetup.
Eden’s POV:
I stole a glance at Sterling, looking at him secretly whenever I could because damn it, he looked so attractive. It was illegal to look like that. How could he perfect such a look?
He and I were supposed to meet Violeta and Gray, and we’d arrived a little earlier than planned. Now all that was left to do was wait.
Gray’s POV:
“Are you ready, Vy?” I called out to my girlfriend after knocking on the bathroom door. I needed to get my clothes from my apartment, so Violeta and I decided she’d bring hers to mine so we could get ready. Yes, we had been holed up in her dorm all day, but you can’t blame us. We were pretty much free, and had the place all to ourselves. We played games, fooled around… had fun. And now we were going on a double date.
(Just gonna wait until morning…)
“Almost!” I called back, smoothing an errant lock of hair behind a pin and standing back to check my appearance. I hadn’t wanted to overdress, but at the same time, I’d wanted to wear something that would impress Gray. Due to the…. marks he had made on me, something with a dipping neckline hadn’t been an option, so I’d settled for a creamy blouse with a simple shawl to cover my shoulders (and part of my neck). Finally finished, I reached for the doorknob and opened the door.
Gray’s POV:
My jaw practically dropped the second I saw Violeta. She looked absolutely gorgeous, and I could feel the tip of my ears turning pink.
I cursed.
“You look beautiful,” I whispered, walking over to her to wrap my arms about her and kissing the tip of her nose. “Sad you’re trying to cover up the marks, huh?”
My face fell just as quickly as it had brightened, guilt twisting my stomach.
“They’re still visible high up on my neck,” I told him, praying that I hadn’t offended him. “I’m just….. afraid. Of being called a……………” I swallowed. “A whore. I’m sorry. I’ll leave the shawl behind—“
Gray’s POV:
I interrupted her by pressing our lips together softly, my hands gently cupping her cheeks. When I pulled away, I looked into her eyes with a heated expression.
“Leave it on,” I whispered. “Wear whatever that makes you comfortable, and whoever has a problem with it will be dealing with my fists. No one will call you that, especially not when I’m around.”
My heart melted.
“What did I do to deserve you?” I murmured, shoulders sagging in relief. “Thank you…”
Gray’s POV:
I hugged her tighter, resting my chin on her head.
“Everything,” I murmured. “I’m the one who doesn’t deserve you…”
“Clearly,” I told him, voice taking on a teasing note. “All that marking up still has your brain muddled.” Nudging him towards the bathroom, I stood on my toes to give him a kiss on the cheek. “Go on, get dressed.”
